Psychologists advising to avoid adult sites
Lately I am getting lots of "please cancel me and ban me from re-signup" requests, and some state their psychologists advised to abandon adult sites... in our case is cam sites... is this true science, that cam sites are bad for health, or?
Example of last email got today, similar to others got time to time: ------------ Hi. I hope that you can remove me – Or better - Block me so I never can sign up anymore. My user is XXXX and my email is XXX. I have a problem with my surfing on Erotic sites and my Psychologist have ordered me to lock me out from these sites. Hope that you can help me with this. Thanks in advance. ------------ Now these psychologists are paid like $100 per hour to advise not to spend money in porn sites so the guy got more cash to pay psychologists and pills? Isn't this a conflict of interests? Are we sure this is confirmed science that porn is bad for the brain? PS: I often get also "I am Catholic and this is bad, Jesus is crying when I u se your site, please cancel me", but this is religion based on faith not science so ok, I mean Psychologists are meant to be based on science...

I checked he spent just $5000 across 3 years that's small, relatively. I have guys spending $5000 in 3 days and all fine. Of course, it could be he spent in many sites and the total it may be so bigger.

I actually have some experience with this from the side that you are talking about.. abut a year or so ago, I got a phone call from my very dearest childhood friend - one I had found on facebook that had moved away when we were 16 yrs old - and we'd hooked back up on facebook - but all we'd done to this point was talk on facebook and wasn't expecting to get a phone call from her...
So she had been married to this guy for most of her life, she's super shy, very much the submissive personality and she finally left him and starts dating this guy who didn't have a job, he was between jobs - she'd go to work and come home and he'd be sitting on cam sites NOT jerking off or anything - just sitting there watching them. So we talk and she knew I worked in porn and she asked me what to do, was there a way to ban him, blah blah - I told her how it wasn't those girls, this is on him and what was going on to make him do this - she said he never said anything to them - as in nothing sexual, their sex life was fine - but eventually it got bad enough that he'd eat and go back to the cam site - tv - cam sites - sleep - cam sites - and this went on and on til it started causing problems - so I get a call to ask what to do. I told her whatever he's getting from those girls that he isn't getting from her isn't going to stop it until whatever needs those girls are filling have been met! They filled a need - allbeit they were making the guy pay for it, but they were filling it and they were "there" for him, so the money wasn't even an issue and I think he just didn't even know at some point how out of hand it had gotten, because he felt like he was being heard, was getting the attention he craved and so on and money didn't even matter - his needs were all that did. I DO think cam sites can be addictive, even more so than any still or video site online, the girls are saying THEIR names, they are letting them "cry on their shoulder" and they are doing what the guys need them to do - they are making money sure and the guys don't even consider that for a second - the girls are calling out THEIR names - calling out their needs - they can sit there for countless hours just filling those needs - being paid, but whatever - and I have seen this myself. I would go in and help monitor cam sessions with models for a long time and I found that other than the typical guy things - a LOT of guys were there because they were lonely - so they went IN having issues - needs, psychological things going on - so the problem existed BEFORE they ever opened a SINGLE wallet or pulled out a single credit card - these Psychologists need to address THAT - not the addiction to cam sites - they need to fix what was there before the cams came into play because the cams are NOT the root, they are what helps them get what THEY need! Sorry I ranted, but I have seen this first hand!
