How to build up traffic?.

I'd appreciate if someone could give me some advice on how to build up traffic. I know many techniques used for mainstream sites cannot be used for adult sites due to the nature of its content.

So far I've been doing things by the book like:

Forum signature.
Posting watermarked videos and images on tube sites and gallery dumps
LE and backlinks
Working on social networks but this one takes time to produce results.
Doing on page and off page SEO.

Being a new blog with PR0 makes things hard to do LE with bigger sites/blogs/forums or even to be included by most porn listing sites.

Another thing I must refer is that my amateur blog is hosted on blogspot as this started as a hobby and that somehow limits my options like being unable to use plugrush.

Get a normal domain, make a site and then start working on it. You can't have good SEO results because you don't have full control now.

I forgot to mention I do have a domain .net that points to my blog and have seen SE results for low competitive keywords. Blogspot may not be perfect but it allows me to edit the html code to "polish" it to the best of my skills. I use GWT to find any possible page errors.

I think you should give it a lil more time. Just keep doing what you are doing. Social media is where the real buyers are.

2 month is nothing for SEO
Expect decent hits from google after at least 4-6 month. This was the time I had to wait for all my previous sites.

If you want it faster, you either have an awesome site which is a worth a press release or you have to spend a lot of money.

1.5 month was enough for one site to start getting 150k/day from Google, if done right ;)

I'm aware 2 months is not much but I thought I could be overlooking a technique or method.
Being only 2 months old makes it really hard to do LE with some well known sites or be accepted by porn list directories.

@SpyCam
I know the right seo and marketing can do wonders but this is more of a hobby and therefore budget is limited.
I won't hire those dead cheap seo services available on the net that can end up doing more harm than good.

I'm using tumblr. Followers are growing daily but like other social media it takes time before I can start "harvesting".

Btw, what does minimum xx% content mean?. It is a very common rule for traffic trading.

#1 thing, get your own domain and start building it out.

The biggest factor in getting a quick start with SEO is going after longtails first, then working your way up towards the bigger terms. Way less competition means way less waiting time to rank.

Focus on building up some buffers, such as your blogspot, tumblr, etc, and blast cheap backlinks to those... the link juice can pass through to your money site, but you won't run into penalty issues if you're not direct linking.

Remember, Google likes to rank different types of content for keywords, because not everybody is searching for the same exact thing. So I like to go into a keyword and see if anything that usually ranks might be missing (for instance video, a press release, a twitter account, whatever.) Focus on trying to rank whatever is missing, and you'll have a better chance of moving up fast.

Agree here. I do SEO for a living and this works. It's all about content so make sure you have quality content onsite. I've gotten a lot of organic traffic with very little linking; just building consistent content.

I'm doing what most people posted here and I see the more efficient methods take time.
I guess I'll have to wait a few months before drawing conclusions.

You can migrate from BlogSpot to a Wordpress blog, I think. I've seen a plugin for that through a wp dashboard. Look at popular plugins, and it should be somewhere on the 4th of 5th page. Having a hosting of your own, is way better than BlogSpot.

As far as building traffic:
- don't add too many ads to your site
- add good quality content on a regular basis (everyday, see: DansMovies.com, Beeg.com - always new videos every day)
- onsite seo + link building (you can also purchase some good xxx links)
- social media promotion (set up following and sharing, update your social websites on a regular basis too)
- try to get links that generate traffic to the sites
- you can buy traffic too, but you need to know what you are doing (buying traffic is the best for traffic trading sites)
- trade traffic

I would create a free website at DirtySexBlog.com, add links, and get some traffic from there. It can be quite a lot, depending on the size of your site.
