read there was 3 dead and dozens injured but the sad thing is this isn't the worst one.. in 2013 8 or 9 were killed and 79 or 80 were injured in Mexico..

You couldn't pay me to go to see this unless it was in a stadium where I was setting up in a safer location

I have been to Netherlands many times and did not get the feeling that anyone in that country would care about monster trucks or be dumb enough to have their kids in harms way like that. I am just shocked by this

Normally they have spotters with remote kill switches that shut the trucks off. I cant believe they let the people stand that close. Seems like he didnt even have enough room to turn around without hitting someone.

Hello, thank you for your response. I am fairly well traveled especially for someone from the USA. I have an affinity for the Netherlands and the people. That's some fucked up shit.

While usually not my type of event I went to one a few years ago and much to my surprise I had a good time. "Robosaurus" was there - 40 feet tall, 31 tons - and it would lift cars up and light them on fire and then tear them apart. It was a lot of fun really.
