Yahoo joins Google in trend to encrypt search queries

Yahoo introduces new encryption methods to protect users from spying
Quote:
Yahoo has announced it has fully encrypted traffic moving between its data centers, as well as mail between servers and other mail providers in order to protect private users from mass surveillance. The move helps put a lid on NSA spooks and hacking.

I hate this stuff, how should I know exactly what my visitors want if I dont know what they looked for in the first place?

I love when they say this affects the NSA, like the NSA doesn't have a workaround hahaha

It's a money grab forcing people to buy traffic to see results. Nothing more.
