A motorist was driving along, swerving, almost hitting people, you know, the usual day in China.

Cops stopped him. Gave him a sobriety test which he failed. Took him to the station, had his blood checked. Found high level of opiates.

After sobering up and swearing up and down he was no drug addict the police asked him where he had been that day. Motorist said he just left a ramen noodle shop where he had lunch.

Police went to check and fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk me, they found the owner adding poppy seeds, the good kind, to his ramen in order to drum up business.

Gives a new meaning to "Happy Ramen" Shop

Who besides me would love to try this? I've read they put some pretty fucked up things in ramen...Can you imagine Viagara Ramen?

香港（ＣＮＮ） 中国北部・陝西省でラーメン店を経営する男が、アヘンの原料となるケシの粉末をラーメンに入れていたとして 、１０日前から拘束されている。地元のメディアが伝えた。男は調べに対し、常連客を増やしかったのでケシを 入れたと話しているという。

地元紙の報道によると、この経営者は８月にアヘン粉末２キロを６００人民元（約１万円）で入手して、店で出 すラーメンに入れた。味を良くして店を繁盛させようと思ったという。

問題が発覚したのは、この店のラーメンを食べた２６歳の男性が車を運転していて警察に止められ、薬物検査を 受けさせられたことがきっかけだった。

男性は禁止薬物を使用したとして１５日間拘束されたが、家族が自分たちも同じ店でラーメンを食べたと警察に 話し、薬物検査で陽性反応が出たことを受けて、ようやく釈放された。

なお、たとえケシ入りラーメンを長期間食べ続けたとしても、薬物依存症になる可能性は低いと同紙は伝えてい る。

中国で食品にケシを添加するのは珍しいことではなく、２０１０年と１２年にも同じようなケースがあったとい う。
