Dafuk?
I've heard a lot of young people from Spain seeking jobs out of Spain due to high unemployment rate in their country, it's like everyone moans about it and go on strike. But when I simply tried to check the Barcelona Zoo entry fee I was like OMG then WTF? I'll keep feeding my local Polish animals instead.

Thats not bad for 4 people. It's a great zoo.
what is it 20 euros for adults 15 for kids? Dollars fucked.. thats the problem. Barcelona is expensive for everything. Only Spanish city more expensive is San Sebastian.. but thats to keep the riffraff out. |

In Hannover I paid 18EUR for 1 ticket, they offer discounted family tickets too...
My red line stands at $10 per adult and $5 per child, basically $25 family ticket should be the top.

dont see any problem here. price for 4 people ... you can go to forrest, and maybe if you are lucky you will see some shitty bird ... or go to polish zoo, where is maybe like 10% of what they have in barcelona ... so, you get what you pay for

Check the discount sites like Groupon. There are a few Spanish specific ones. I live in Barcelona and only the tourists pay full price at places like the Zoo.
Spain still has the 'siesta' culture and yes they are a very workshy bunch but it's getting better. |

Right, and Disney is definitely not a strip club. Let's fucking keep to the thread theme.

Know what , it feels like you'd sold your gfy nick to CyberSEO, Zoos in Poland are kept very good and are nearly the same level as those in Germany, if they, in Barcelona, put a palm tree here and there doesn't mean it is that expensive.

mate, i am from czech republic, only when i am drunk i am from poland, so maybe thats a bit misunderstanding i just borrowed this nick from nice guy lucas from poland but you know, it is about the animals. in barcelona they are originals and in hd, in poland and in germany its just pirated sd copies if you cant afford originals, get sd copies i mean it is about the place, they can put the price high because of high rich traffic they have there, i dont think the price is set so nobody can afford it

I get it about "traffic" and hot destination... but more and more I get to thinking of leaving my dollar locally at the lakes in the mountains or even go to Strebske Pleso.

Pretty much the same price as the zoo in Copenhagen and there you get to watch animals being murdered in front of kids that came to pet it ;)

Wait till you see what they charge you for icecreams/drinks/food in the city. And Barca probably has the lowest unemployment in Spain, when I lived there is was 3% when the country average was 10%, so probably still less than 10% now. |

Not really shocked at that price - Then again I live in London and nothing shocks me...
As others have said, Barca is very expensive - I told you to go to Valencia instead - I remember..... When you get there pick up one of the million brochures you will see everywhere - Most of them have offers in them for things like the zoo... |
