Why adult network do not allow mainstream ads?
I know that you can't put porn ads on mainstream sites. But what about the other way around?
Recently a place I bought traffic told me that many people complain because I bought ads with mainstream landing page in china. At first I was allowed but then there were many complaints. I wonder who would complain? Visitors? Nah... We pretty much provide them with free porn for nothing. Publishers? C'mon. They would have gotten 0 otherwise. Now at least they got paid. Most webmasters are not even in China and can't see the ads unless they use proxy. Even if the ads are in US, I don't see why people should complain. I mean, I know the sponsor may complain. But publishers? Aren't publishers only care about getting paid? What? We have porn idealism? Can anyone please enlighten me. |

That's a good question. I've wondered the same thing myself.
There are websites like break.com or dailymotion.com which have adult sections with full nude or porn videos and they still are allowed to display mainstream ads. |

I know romance is disgusting, unlike porn. But aren't we more tolerant?

I was looking at Exo's non-adult ads and one of them was some kind of life insurance ad with a bunch of kids in the ad. Obviously I don't want that showing up on a porn site.
It really just depends on the sponsor though and what they want to be associated with. There are some mainstream-ish companies that don't mind adult traffic |

We would allow it on JuicyAds, not sure about other networks though.

Its not good for company's image to be shown on pornsite. I'd never allow to show ads for my sports cars company on a porn site. Sure, you can have sales and traffic thanks to it, but it can hurt your image which is almost priceless. This is my point of view.
