Americans are dumb shits allowing the rifle industry to do this.

Kind of reminds me of those bump fire / slide fire stocks that are out there.

Its still 100% within the law. Now, if the shooter takes out a hammer and chisel and makes modifications to the weapon so that it fires full auto, then that's illegal. Those are two totally different situations. The auto-glove is basically the same thing as squeezing the trigger really fast until the magazine runs out. |

One can buy M-60 machine guns ie as well as a multitude of automatic weapons including .50 cal MG's. Unless there has been recent changes in the law and maybe there has been. I have not researched the matter. |
They were quick to ban any attachments and gizmos like that in Canada. Basically anything that works in tandem with a semi-auto to automate / speed up the pulling of the trigger is illegal.
I really wanted one of those gatling guns you could make out of a couple Ruger 10/22s. Hell now we can't even buy 22 magazines bigger than 10 shots in most cases. |

Correct me if I am wrong. 1934 - National Firearms Act - Because of Dillinger and all the Chicago violence, the purchase of full auto, suppressors and short barreled rifle required the purchase of a $200 tax stamp. Making them prohibitively expensive. 1986 - Firearm Owners Protection Act - FOPA - Under Reagan. This was a bill to protect gun owners from over zealous ATF agents. But in order for the bill to pass, No new full autos could be made. Transferable - Means individuals can buy. Pre - 86 registered. But you have to buy the stamp. http://www.gunbroker.com/item/679555963 Post Dealer Sample - Only LEO, military and class III dealers. http://www.gunbroker.com/item/678925862 |
