Yeah I saw that too.

I remember people here posting freaked out when they'd get knocks on their doors for 2257 investigations, part of the reason I moved to Australia after Bush and his bullshit and part of the reason I stopped voting Republican.

So T.r.u..mp sleeps with young girls & is NOW going to go after adult porn???

I knew he was a chronic liar, but this is TOOOO MUCH!!!

Mike Pence and the hard core Republicans are Trump's needed allies ...

Trump himself could probably care less. I imagine his hotels have profited from adult pay-per-view.

Doubt it will change much, people will simply use VPN as they using in it countries where porn is already banned.

Trump can't work a computer, no joke, and he pays for sex with real people. To his 71 year old billionaire mind buying porn would be demeaning and is for the little people.

VPN's will likely be a target of this administration to enforce new cyber security measures :2 cents:

IMO if they put together a task force and went after porn they would likely start with the more extreme niches. It would be pretty hard to get a conviction against normal, vanilla porn because it is so mainstream it is now a regular part of society.

They might choose to go after small companies first because it will be easy for them to get a conviction if the defendants don't have a lot of money to fight them. They may hope that those few wins will scare other small fish into closing down.

In the end, I don't think they will have much luck. Trump was elected because he promised to build a wall, fix illegal immigration, bring back jobs, and drain the swamp among other things. If he wastes resources trying to shut down porn sites or arrest people selling dildos I have a feeling the voters will not be very happy about it.

Barry-xlovecam 01-10-2017 05:20 PM

If I was an anti-porn crusader I would attack the teen and gay twink sites that are on Twitter(etc) and make the most noise and publicity could ... Scare the public and find some iffy models to check ID documentation on. Twitter will cave an roll over -- bet on that :2 cents:

Who knows maybe the conservabros will tweak RICO to include pornography that can be declared obscene by a new conserabro Supreme Court

Alexander v. United States (91-1526), 509 U.S. 544 (1993).
https://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/91-1526.ZS.html

Quote:

After a full criminal trial, petitioner, the owner of numerous businesses dealing in sexually explicit materials, was convicted of, inter alia, violating federal obscenity laws and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). The obscenity convictions, based on a finding that seven items sold at several stores were obscene, were the predicates for his RICO convictions. In addition to imposing a prison term and fine, the District Court ordered petitioner, as punishment for the RICO violations, to forfeit his businesses and almost $9 million acquired through racketeering activity
Miller v. California is the standard of obscenity (for now) ....

Anything that enforces 2257 better and that get stealers and scammers out is good to me.

I agree with you that the good old days are gone and they're never going to come back.

BUT it's only the hardcore geeks of the Internet that even know what a VPN is. Most people don't have a clue and really can't be bothered going to all the trouble use one. Futhermore anyone that's willing to go as far using a VPN is the same fucktard that wouldn't pay for porn under any circumstance.

It's going to depend a lot on how this "porn witch hunt" unfolds. Because if they seriously shake down the distributors requiring them to keep proper documentation and keep it out of the hands of children then it will greatly improve the economic situation of the producers and performers.

But anything other than that will result in a fuck all difference.

If they just enforce the current laws on the books that would be more then enough to substantially clean this mess up.

They won't ban porn. They can't. It has been ruled as protected free speech.

If anything they would try to prosecute those who make the porn.

The US is 40% of the money in the porn business.

Contemplated new law and renewed enforcement of laws intended to harass the adult industry will help the offshore based porn tubes as they have NP with VPN and Tor -- they make few sales to consumers.

Advertising Networks would have loads of traffic that they could not reliably identify in origin sell at a premium price.

Porn sites will move to .onion to evade this regulation. The taxpayer will pick up the tab of this new ''enforcement'' -- this is a lose-lose deal all around.

Like this guy Joshua G. He just insults us, doesn't work on the industry but calls people names here and trolls them while wanting to be anonymous. If you're not in the industry fine, but when you troll people in the industry, insult them and call names while being anonymous, that should no longer be allowed.

Rob Black and his wife were also put in jail. They were making some pretty extreme stuff and they basically challenged the government to come after them, but still, in my eyes they shouldn't have been prosecuted.

There weren't a lot of people prosecuted potentially because of 9/11. After the attacks, the FBI focused all their efforts on terrorism so the obscenity task force put together by Bush and AG Ashcroft most sat unused until Obama disolved it.

What is bad about these things? Well, for one, grown adults who are consenting to make, star in, and watch these movies are being targeted. If I want to watch a guy piss on a girl while in the privacy of my own home, I should be allowed to do that so long as all the people in the movie are consenting adults.

PornDiscounts-V 01-11-2017 03:14 PM

GOP is going to make porn a shit place. Well, my company isn't based on the USA, so fuck em... But they will have rules, regulations and they will send out the police in riot gear to pick up those who shoot porn here. Put them in jail, talk about how children were being victimized, then they have to defend themselves from our government. Sad state we live in.

You have to understand these right wing elements:

Quote:

Most significantly, Justice Scalia voiced the opinion that ?Church and state would not be such a difficult subject if religion were, as the court apparently thinks it to be, some purely personal avocation that can be indulged entirely in secret, like pornography, in the privacy of one?s room. For most believers, it is not that, and has never been.?
Justice Antonin Scalia, the Establishment Clause, and Religion in the Public Square | U.S. Law, American History | Ed Mannino

So, with religion in their pocket they wipe their ass with the US Constitution and its Bill of Rights. GW Bush is a great example with what came after 9/11: "god is on our side."

Ok, then the poster should learn to express itself .... :2 cents:

Now, if this is the case , in which respect is it pertinent to the title the thread '' Obscenity Prosecution Task Force to be reinstated by new AG - Sessions ''

And does the poster think that the AG will go police the net to the profit of pornographer ?

Rob made a lot of enemies in the biz.

He didn't pay his bills, he took very little direct control over the daily operations of his company, set characters like Gene Ross & Wanker Wang to openly insult others online and openly dared people to do something about it. There were a lot of behind the scenes from certain people within the industry that helped take him down and not just the government.

Rob went looking for trouble and he found it.

I don't know him and have never dealt with him, but I have heard a lot about how he pissed a lot of people in the industry off. I also saw the video where he basically dared the government to come after him. He brought a lot of it on himself, but I still don't think someone should go to jail for making a video that involved consensual adults doing what they want.

In essence you're right and I'll agree with you.

But Extreme had the bad habit of bouncing checks and those "consensual adults" were only agreeing to perform because they were offered money for it. IE: Their consent was conditional.

Not paying the talent is similar to lying to a woman to trick her into having sex. Otherwise known as rape by fraud.
