Developer + Designer 4 Portal

This is a project I have been waiting to start for awhile now. Mainly because I have been derailed by other projects, and spin off companies. This is essentially going to be a 'portal' site. The reason for this site will be to add in many social networking, and other features over time, however right now I need the version 1.0 done. We will add and modify as needed.

I am going to paint of overall version 1.0 for you, so you can see if you are up to the challenge. Make sure whether you post in thread, or contact me directly, you show examples of your work. Ideally, I would like to find a company who can handle all of it.

1. Web Spider:

I need a spider that can pull daily updates via secondary sites. For example, on my celebrity sites, they pull an update from my vBulletin posts. I think it does this every few hours via CRON job. Whatever new daily posts are on the forum, those links will show up on the main pay site page. I want the same done for this. You can convert to RSS, and then import for all I care. I just want this functionality.

I have multiple applications for this spider and list.

2. Web Design:

I have drawn out the initial page outline for this site. How it should be organized in the layout for the front page of the site. You basically need to take these elements to incorporate the functionality.

3. Basic social CMS version 1.0

This needs to have the basic functionality as follows.
* Private Email Account (like Yahoo, etc)
* Daily Newsletter Ability
* A Basic CMS
- Manage the RSS/feed
- Manage the Ad Spots/Videos
- Manage the Paid/Links on site
- Manage TGP Feed

4. Classified Ads:

This does not need to be rolled out in version 1.0, however, this is something for you to consider as I would like one long term developer for this project. There will be a spot for this on the v.1 of this site. I want this to work similar to Auction Ads with paid spots.

5. Social Network CMS:

Keep in mind, this is a portal. So while the initial v.1 version can be scaled back to creating a profile, pictures, and having a private email account all aspects of the site need to be tied into a central platform. So for example, if they list a classified ad, they would be able to see ads they are running in their central profile.

There are other features that will be rolled out over time into this. So be mindful to build modular to be able to easily plug in new applications and features as they arise.

6. Payment API:

Again, this is not something that is an immediate need in v.1, but it's something to be mindful of as you are going to need to build in a payment gateway. I have not decided yet if I will use one of my third party billing accounts, or merchant. But either way, you need to be able to integrate this.

This is really just the tip of the iceberg on what we are working on. Not just on this particular project, but in regards to streaming video, chat, cams, and some other goodies. With the scope of this project, we need a solid web developer for it. You are paid accordingly to MILESTONES of completion. I prefer that the project be coded in PHP or another common platform that allows ease of use for other programmers in the future if needed.

Feel free to contact me directly, or post up in the thread. Make sure you include examples of sites you have done similar or on the same scale. While aspects of this project are easy. There are others that are both long term, and a bit more tricky. I am looking for a long term developer on this.
