Sent him 780$ on July 31st for DVD rights, Design, Exclusive resell, non-exclusive and unlimited media distribution on the packages above ( 50% of contract price + HDD cost )

Aug 13th I filed a dispute on PayPal since 2 weeks has gone by and I have not received the content or refund... I escalated the dispute to a claim on Aug 24.

He told me he will send me the money back once he got the package back and I send him a copy of our contract voided ( it's not even a valid license because I still owe him the other 50% )

I opened the dispute for the following

Refusing the package means you never took possession of the package, and thus you never opened it in the first place.

The way I see it, marlboroack is not owed a refund at this point. Because for whatever reason, afterhoursstudios has not yet received his product back. Looks like USPS lost the return shipment. That is not afterhoursstudios's fault.

marlboroack, what you should have done is returned the product to afterhoursstudios with $780 insurance, so that if USPS loses your return shipment, you can file a claim against USPS.

Exactly. The Post Office losing a package, which - even with the tracking link that Marlboroack HIMSELF posted - shows it was never returned. There's no way that AfterHours can be faking that.

I can't really say anything negative about Marlboroack either, from my own personal experience {I won't get into hearsay, but you all can read GFY for yourself...}, other than the fact that about 3 years ago, for no real reason with some business we were doing...he fucking called my house (which wasn't necessary at ALL!) at like 6 in the damn morning on a Sunday {and I live in Vegas, if that's any indication of how pissed off I was!}...

I agree with you, And he was given options to end this through paypal, All he had to do was upload a voided license that i signed to the claim he filed with paypal and it would have been ended right there, I have to cover myself in case he gets my content and has that license then I would have to payout thousands to a lawyer to contest it, And he knew as soon as he used the word porn in the claim my paypal would get locked up, Paypal has me on time out for 30 days until i can have access to my money, Only thing i can do with paypal is receive money, If he sends me a voided license and as soon as I get access to the funds I will refund, I offered this same deal minutes before he started this gfy bull shit

Because for whatever reason, afterhoursstudios has not yet received his product back. Looks like USPS lost the return shipment. That is not afterhoursstudios's fault. marlboroack, what you should have done is returned the product to afterhoursstudios with $780 insurance, so that if USPS loses your return shipment, you can file a claim against USPS.
