Off Topic- Animal Cruetly Advice
This is completely off topic. I hope no one minds that I post a personal issue in the lobby. I can't put this on facebook and, really am hoping to have discussion. I'd appreciate any advice or thoughts that anyone can offer.
I split my time between South Florida and, Eastern Tennessee. One of my close friends in Florida has been saving up to buy a french bulldog puppy for over a year. I love dogs and, have two big, sweet fur babies myself. I'd never spend thousands of dollars on a dog but, to each their own. Since the breeder was less than two hours from my house in Tennessee, I volunteered to pick the pup up and, fly her back to Florida. The breeder requested to meet me in a Shoney's parking lot instead of me going to her house. I thought that was odd...but, whatever. All of the red flags were there and, I just didn't pay attention. In a way, I am glad that I didn't because this puppy would have died without my help. I picked up this tiny puppy, who was wrapped in a dish towel and, appeared to be malnourished. I've always had big breed dogs so, just how underweight this pup was lost on me at the time. She came with her vaccination records and, was cute as a button so, I took her home. Because she was so tiny, I delayed my flight and, took her to the local vet, just as a precaution. The pup had parvo. This one and a half pound puppy was given a 30% chance of survival, even with hospitalization. The pup was with the vet, on an iv and, feeding tube for 8 hours a day. At night, she came home to me and, my daughter. My daughter, who has a background in nursing but, is a stay at home mom at the moment, helped quite a bit. She and, I slept with the pup and, woke up every 3 hours to feed her a special formula from a syringe. We were told the pup would have to be hospitalized for 7 to 10 days. After 3 days, the vet came out with tears in his eyes, but smiling ear to ear. He told us that he'd never seen anything like it. The tiny little pup was such a warrior that not only did she beat a deadly virus but in record time. So, the munchkin was well enough to leave the hospital in 3 days. Because, I can only assume her shot record was falsified, I haven't flown her back to her rightful owner yet. She is going in for an official round of puppy shots in a few days. Then, we'll be on our way. Here is my dilemma. How do I rectify this with the people who sold her? They stopped communicated entirely. I was actually very polite to them, simply asking for background information on the pup and, telling them that we love her and, are thrilled that she survived. I implored them to contact the people they sold her litter mates to. I even offered to help with their vet bills if the people who bought the other pups couldn't afford it. These folks offered nothing. No information. No empathy. No remorse. I don't have their physical address but, my daughter has tracked down the so called breeder and, all of her family members on facebook. At this point, we are wondering if they are brokering for a puppy mill. I am a step away from hiring a private detective and, an attorney. All I want to know is what in the heck is going on. If this was a couple who thought it would be easy to breed expensive, trendy pups and, got in over their heads, I could live with that. If there is a full on puppy mill with cages of neglected dogs, maybe I am a nut but, I feel that I have to do something. I contacted the police who said it is a civil matter. Wouldn't it also be a public health issue? Just how far should I take it? It isn't about the money here. I picked up the vet bill for my friend. The vet was also incredibly kind, charging what must have been his cost. So, it could have been much worse. I just feel something needs to be done and, am struggling with what. If the people would just be honest, it would be much easier to accept. As it is now, I am at a loss for how to handle this. I can't just let it go. While I love dogs...people come first. If I was going to throw around money, it would be on helping people. But, geez, this is hard to accept. If you've made it this far through my lengthy post, thank you for taking the time. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Are you the one choking a guy's testicles on your avatar picture? You should already know (or come to terms with the fact) that people are different.

Yes, that is me from years ago when I used to be in front of the camera. Different is one thing. In the world for femdom, people play cruel. It is fun, it is entirely roleplay, mindblowing pretend. The ladies in the Sm world are actually some of the nicest people anyone could meet.

Sorry to hear about this[/QUOTE Thank you. For this reason, the vet suggested we give her at least a week to put on weight.

You've got to admit that it is actually an act of kindness to punish a man's balls. It makes him a better man. Think of it as sacrificial on the woman's part.

Buying a dog demands you see the puppy with her siblings and mother. Otherwise, you are contributing to the puppy farms that cause so much pain and death of young dogs. Britain has just passed a law that makes it illegal for pet shops to sell puppies.
Buy from the breeder at his location. |

Ritualistic castration as an offering to a given goddess is indeed an ancient and much respectable thing . In a certain time of my life I was urging to get my testicles punished.

Hi! Its been awhile
Maybe the police won't help because its not their jurisdiction and public shaming might get you in trouble. How about contacting your local animal rights groups? Maybe they have the ressources to deal with these kinds of people. A quick google search brought up these names (but I'm sure you can find more): - Home | Animal Rights Foundation of Florida - Florida Association of Animal Welfare Organizations - Home - https://www.floridavoicesforanimals.org/ |

If you were a friend you would have told them
not to buy from a "breeder" which = "puppy mill". Would have suggested the AKC clubs in your friend's area, as a starting point. It's the Year of the Dog, let's hope it's not a shitty year. |

I've had great success with AKC breeders. I've always seen the parents, so this was a blind sight on both mine and, my friend's part. What would you do if someone gave you the address that you thought was their home and, it turned out to be a Shoney's with a little puppy wrapped in a dish towel? Save the judgement. My friend got duped. All the same, I am glad that I didn't drive away. So, is this little pup that I've picked up all of the vet bills for. The so called breeder set it up good, complete with a website that has since been taken down. They should have some consequences. Mine are that I paid vet bills for a pup that I don't own, gave it around the clock care and, believe me...am kicking myself for not acting on the red flags. At the same time, as I type this, the little pup is snuggling on my lap. She would have died if I hadn't of picked her up that day. All I want is these people to have some consequence to discourage them from continuing this behavior.
