Who runs anybunny.mobi?

I wonder who runs anybunny.mobi? Somehow they are very successful in tricking Google to give them shitload of organic traffic. Every search I do, anybunny.mobi is there.

Based on SimilarWeb stats, they get 93% (HUGE) search traffic and only 4.7% is direct and 1.5% links.

Past month they had almost 190 million visits so that totals about 176 million raw organic traffic per month or about 6 million / day!!

It's year 2018 and Google decided that somehow anybunny is posting such incredible content and titles that they deserve so much.

Yet their direct traffic is only 4%, that isn't much user engagement.

Any thoughts? Just curious what you think.

MyLust is getting 77% of traffic from links (CJs sending traffic) but only 6% organic traffic.

Also, anybunny titles and videos are non unique, they are shown in dozens of other sites.

So how the heck can Google send that much organic traffic to a site that has a lot of non unique content and it has very low user engagement and direct traffic.

Google is as dumb as always, getting tricked over and over again since inception.

I notice two things: they have literally no ads (at least on desktop, where I checked), and they have done some blackhat link-building.

I'm not so sure they "tricked" google, I think they're giving users exactly what they want. Free porn with no ads or redirects.

Pretty hard to survive in porn when companies with lots of money to float are racing to the bottom like this.

Much better content is given by many other websites with even better user interaction, but they don't get the traffic that this crap site gets.

I am not saying it should get zero, but the amount given is absurd. And if you look in history, it is getting this much traffic from summer, when the website was started.

If you look at the big tubes, the traffic source is much more balanced, just as it should be.

Pornhub has the average stay on site time of 10 min, while anybunny has 5 min. Yet Google thinks it has better user engagement somehow?

Also, they are doing a lot of keyword spamming, I find even my own sites domain names auto generated in anybunny.

Yet what I think is that Google are a bunch of idiots. Their algo crap has become worse not better. Everything they do is going downhill. Now they love to be the enforcer of new rules for the internet. Just take example of YouTube new rules etc.

Yes, indeed, from a website like:
New York Fashion Week: Day Four. • Sonya Esman :: A Platform For Self-Expression

Looking into source, we find something like this:

<li class="post pingback">
<p>Pingback: <a href='http://anybunny.mobi' rel='external nofollow' class='url'>anybunny.mobi</a>()</p>
</li>

Or like this:

WilmaConne - Affichage d’un profilÂha - Forum Weax.net

Link in user's profile. Definitely natural links

The most basic link spamming, yet Google isn't catching up on that. And it is year 2018.

I was analyzing this website and it sure makes no sense.

Tons of content don't even match the titles they provide. For example most of their "search result" pages.

Also all of their links are massively built with tools like xrummer probably. They launched the site, spammed to thousands and thousands of websites at one go. And it worked.

Sad.

Good thing is they started losing some traffic

Thing is, Google has no interest in fixing this shit. It rarely eyes the adult niche. After all, people still get some porn in search results, regardless of quality.

There is also a huge inflation of cloaking websites in adult results redirecting to dating type offers.

It's been going on for months with no fix. Yet that's because they don't monetize the adult traffic like they monetize mainstream, so they don't care much, especially since they have the monopoly.

Hopefully that will change with time (the monopoly). I see duckduckgo.com has increased in traffic and it's used a lot for porn searches

Monopoly is never a good thing, it doesn't drive innovation and there is no real competition for better products. So I won't mind seeing Google going downhill.

They aren't doing any innovative scheme to trick Google, my question is why Google's algo is so easily tricked, as they are supposed to have enough experience about this black hat techniques.

Like someone already said, google doesn't give a flying fuck about porn searchers and porn search is fucked up totally.

Other than BAD sites dominating results, there is another issue - because they can't monetize porn search directly, they stuff results with all kinds of crap, mostly news articles from mainstream sites. Try doing any porn query. I tested with "sex videos" (but you can try any, with +/- 10% more porn results, depending on query itself.

Quick Analysis:

Page 1:
First result, big porn tube - OK
Top stories (snippets) about Sex offenders and pedophiles - ???
Few more big porn tubes - OK
Three results with articles about sex toys and pedophiles from news sites - ???

Page 2:
Exactly 3 results with big porn tubes scattered in other results - OK
2 Twitter results from same "sex video channel" - ???
2 artistic video productions about sex - ???
3 News articles about kiwi mum, denmark and sex tips - ???

Page 3:
First result is a restaurant menu - ???
3 youtube results - ???
webmd article about sexuality - ???
google books one result - ???
tmz videos - ???
3 news articles about perverts being arrested - ???

There is almost no trace of any porn after page 2

All that + there is virtually no more long tail searching for porn. You simply can't give google a detailed 3-4-5 word query, even exact title of video will not be found in most cases.

The site is very fast with a lot of content classified by tags, around 990K pages indexed by Google.
And also 1800K results in the google video tab, this is huge.
It's user friendly, so return rate to SERP should be very low.
The site seems to have some historic data too.

The backlinks profile is huge but so black hat... clearly Google doesn't care about that.
But, from what i can see (because they blocked a lot stuff in their robots.txt), there is no anchor text optimization, only URL.
They push also backlinks to their images not only URLs.
There are certainly other hidden black hat technics...

I believe that porn SERPs don't have the same requirements as SFW SERPs.
A SFW site with the same amount of traffic and the same backlinks profile won't stay more than 2 weeks in the SERPs.

It's a classic black hat website, I've seen countless of such before. The user interaction is not that great, the direct traffic isn't so much, I doubt they have great retention.

And yes, such SFW site would be banned fast by G. Adult has different rules...

Other than google being fucked up deluxe when it comes to porn queries..

This anybunny thing got me curious - there is no monetisation of any kind on the site? Or I'm missing something?
