The market has nowhere to go but down from here.
The extra profits expected are already 'baked-in' to the market and those profits will be mostly used to buy back shares.
Increasing shareholder value, yes, but that is in the calculus of stock prices. And how they achieved such erational exuberance.

Time to sell and realize your profits before they evaporate.
We are back to boom/bust cycles again.
Like most smart investors, I make more money in boom/bust.
Cause I'm going to be taking those profits and shorting the market for starters. Just after all the mergers and buy-backs and job losses from them come through.
Just remember, Someone did tell ya in advance.

Everyone wants a return on investment.
If you have been in the market after Obama took office in 2008-2012 when stocks were at one of the lowest points, it's time to get out.

How much more upside can I get by holding them ?
They will never return that much dividend to me in the rest of my life.
A gain never realized is not a gain. It creates this other bad conduct called the wealth effect where it encourages folks to spend more based on the value of their portfolio that is now overvalued.
(spending money you really don't have unless you cash-out)

If I sell now and take 1/2 of all those 'realized' profits and wait for the right time to short the market,
I will probably grow that money yet again by 30 %

You will never make money in the market doing what everyone else is doing.
Just like most larger corporations, folks make the most money by making people a predictable commodity. Investments and finance is on top of that list.

But the entreating question for me now is, how low and how long.
Because when I think we are there, I buy-in again at probably 50-65 cents on the dollar.
But I think canibus and big pharma making opioids is a better investment right now.
Folks will be taking the losses hard. LOL

if you would not look only at the US numbers butt he world economy you would already see that this bubble is starting to overheat because it is paid with debts.

compared to the rest of the world US economy had the fastest grow right after the crisis and now it is FAR behind the growth of the rest of the world (but has a lot more debts then the rest).

if you look at the western stock markets you will also see that the markets in countries with NO suicide tax cut went with double speed up after trump realized his "big tax cut"
while US stocks are already slowing down.

i would not say that trump was bad for the world - he was only bad for his country because the world finally starts to act without america since it has a moron as president.
they do not count or even listen to what comes from washington and they benefit from that.

even korea is on the way to resolve their problems in another way as with "i have the bigger nuke button".
