Good question.

What I have done is bought some, sold some, bought some, sold some etc, as the price went up and down, etc around the $60 range, but this was a mistake. I made a little but would have made alot more had I waited.

I think instead its best to just buy and sit on it. Since BTC is doing so well, people are looking for other cheaper investments into other crypto currencies and they are starting to see their value climb too.

Where are you buying and selling Mark? I started buying on coinbase but that was a mistake since Canadians can't sell on there.

I don't like coinbase. Check out https://coinsquare.io instead. (And no, this isn't a lame affiliate link).

Does Coinsquare work for US customers? I've already been to a few that don't and didn't bother to mention this until after I made an account.

Always stick as long as you can, 2 years, 5 years, whatever. It's a long term thing.

The best strategy is to invest like this:

buy $1000 worth of coin X, once that investment reaches $3000 sell $1500 of it. So sell half and you made $500 profit. Use the $500 to invest in the next coin and the remaining half of the coins just hold for as long as possible. Nothing to lose, lots to gain. For many coins those remaining halfs are worth $10,000s now. This strategy has been working for the past years and it's not too late to still get started. Many of the coins will keep growing a lot more in the next years.
