It takes a lot to win a multi million dollar defamation lawsuit. It was far beyond not being able to confirm the story. The the recent story featured in the Huffington Post described an event where she showed up from a mill of the run escort agency for $600. a night. That is joke. She was in the same league as Christy Brinkley, working as an internationally famous model the time. How can anyone take the prostitution claims seriously? Industry folks should be concerned that Trump appointed Jeff Sessions as AG. Let's hope we aren't revisited by Ashcroft's bizarre distraction with attacking the porn business as he was actual terrorist organizations. That was a scary time. Sessions is every bit the religious zealot as Ashcroft. The tax bill is troubling. It isn't as bad as people are saying it is but, home owners, particularly those owning more than one home or, high end homes, could be taking a serious bath. I could go on with valid concerns that people should have about Trump. However, petty attacks on his wife are classless.

but on the tax bill i have to veto. not ONLY because there is no finance for it in a country what have more debts than any other country in the world -trump also TRIED to install a backdoor into this bill what would have tremendous effect on the democracy by eliminating the johnson amendment. and BECAUSE this part of the law would make the american election system a joke he did not talk about it in public. all what was or is in this taxbill is unlogic and a try to undermine the democracy. it would even open A LEGAL WAY that putin himself could finance every candidate he wants. ok - somebody found that issue in this tax bill and it will not go through. but how do you call it when an american president TRIES such a dirty trick? i call it fraud on the country ! |

I am not a fan of the tax bill. There is at least one earmark and, said to be others. In all, there are multiple issues that appear to be problematic. The rhetoric that it benefits the wealthy while robbing the poor is not accurate. This bill has the potential to hurt everyone, in different ways. I don't pretend to know everything about it. I will be adversely affected by the reduction of tax write offs for home owners. One of my friends did a mock version of his taxes for last year and, came out $1,600. to the better. My broker likes the tax reform because he says it is good for small business. All in all, something this big should not be passed without an open vote of the American people. Our state representatives, in both parties, represent only themselves...not the people who pay their salary. It is a helpless feeling that the tax paying people of this country just let these clowns make such decisions.
The American people are too busy arguing with each other and, choosing sides, that the government can slide anything by us. Not only is it offensive to see people making fun of the first lady, which ever first lady it happens to be at the time, it is incredibly discouraging that the people will ever be united and, stop the corruption that spans both parties. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the tax reform bill. We just won't know until the tax bill officially passes and, is put into affect, what the outcome will be and, what it will mean to everyone. With grave issues facing the country, seeing people break out into petty insults is frustrating.

hate took place before arguments while the real problem is growing. there is indeed something terrible wrong in a system where you need to be rich or sell your soul to some sponsor to work for your community. I don´t know if someone will ever be able to win the oval office with the truth and with no obligations to the establishment or his own wallet. if you look at that from outside as i do it seems to be the biggest comedy show on earth where a loud voice weights more than intelligence or the facts. the worst of all is that people who THINK they stand for rights and democracy want to fix that with dictatorship - they always forget that in a community are more different interests. so no one can be the one and only and no one can be first. but that's exactly what trump suggested to his followers and the world. his followers idolize him for it (not realizing with who they deal) and the rest of the country plus the world hates him for it. |

For the most part, we agree. I just don't think that Clinton would have been any better. The two party system is not working for us any more. An honest independent doesn't have a shot. What a depressing conversation. Maybe one day it will get better. We can always hope.

This cracks me up.
We had a choice between two people to be President. One of them had two or three decades of political experience, and the second candidate has ZERO political or government experience. Yet somehow people believe that the candidate who has ALL of the experience couldn't have done any better? My high school kid is more qualified to run our government than tRUMP is.

That is absurd. Just focus on his performance, or lack there of, as president. Attacking someone's personal life with speculation is petty. People who do not like Trump distract from the serious issues with all of this childish nonsense. Use common sense. Discuss his policy. Discuss his tax reform bill. Be a grown up if you want to be taken seriously in your criticism of the Trump administration.
