I thought all the Trump hype was BULLSHIT!

All that talk about impeachment, resigning etc.... Blah Blah Blah.

To me that was just a bunch of hype because nothing was going to happen to Trump.

But wow, I'm starting the believe the hype now; his shit is sinking fast!

I'll still be surprised if anything happens to Trump being president; but I've never seen
anything coming this close before except Nixon and Watergate.

i still think its not close to happening. they can probably push the idea that he was only a campaign manager for a short amount of time and went 'rogue' with that stuff on his own.

he'll get off with these allegations but then get nailed in another 2 years for something so mundane it would put us to sleep by comparison. Much like what happened with clinton when he was impeached.

Holy shit you really think this compares to Clinton lying about a blowjob

This is worse than Nixon for Trump. Trump got involved with criminals that were being investigated before he ran for office... let that sink in.

I know he's agreeing with me, but things are not going to go down for Trump like they did for Clinton on mundane charges.

Trump is going to go down hard

President Trump will be fine. Nothing will come from this.

The only mistake President Trump made was not locking up Shillary Clinton. Because the entire Russian witch hunt comes from her. It's all her doing. Trump made a very big mistake in letting her slide and now he's paying the price as this witch hunt harms his presidency.

Good thing is there is still time to lock her up.

Exactly- Russia was helping Syria in the fight against isis. Obama and Hillary were arming isis and training them to go in and overthrow Assad, who was elected by his people. This is all criminal, and everyone involved is in deep shit right now.

And yeah, Bladewire is fucking clueless

Can someone explain to me WHY they like Donald Trump and how President Trump is actually helping THEM?

I get curious when others start to defend unlikeable people.

easy.

every election people have to vote for 'the lesser of 2 evils'.

Trump is the least evil candidate of at least the last couple of decades, which is unique in a presidential election. Blunt? Sometimes a bit simplistic? Yes. But he is also not politically correct, straight to the point, and not totally brainwashed by the war mongering establishment.

Every ex president is against Trump, the media is against him and all Washington elites are against him. That's unique and you cannot get a better sign that he was the right choice.

I guess you said it yourself - "unlikeable" - that is the core. Trump with his, brash behavior somewhat insults the modern visual idea of a "statesman".

The modern, post 60's idea of a statesman is a "likable" person that spouts one platitude after another, never says anything concrete or remotely contraversial, and merely creates a nice audiovisual while the real, corrupt politics goes on behind the scenes.

Unfortunately, nice words and political correctness won't put food on your table, especially in a situation when the real living standards in the US have not increased since the 70's.

That, at the same time when the country has experienced an unparalleled demographic transformation.

From 1776 until 1965, the country remained largely inhabited by citizens of European descent.

Since the immigration act of 1965, this has changed drastically. In 1965 - 90 pct. of US citizens were of European descent. Today, it's an estimated 63.5 pct.

This of course brought many unwanted perks of "diversity" such as the countless, often explicitely racial, ethnical (black, latino, Islamic etc.) groups advocating their own special interests at the expense of the shrinking majority, affirmative action (discrimination against Whites and Asians), more conflict, more uncertainity, more self segregation and less trust.

Add such ideological absurdities such as "identity politics" or being forced to submit to the dogmas of the Church of political correctness unless you want to risk your very living, and you get closer to the reason why many will favor somebody like DJT just for his straightforward style alone.

The mass hysteria in the establishment controlled media is simply the best confirmation that this is not the candidate that was favored by the elites, it can be argued that the more mass hysteria there is, the more chances for re-election.

The elites in the Electoral College annointed Trump to office despite him losing the popular vote by 3,000,000 votes.

The elites just got the biggest tax cut in history last night for the top 1% that will add $1.4t to the deficit. Yeah the elite just hate Trump /sarc

But the metrics both of you are using leaves out the fact that THIS MAN is corrupt, selfish, only interested in HIS benefit, unstable, delusional and basically a douschebag. Your points may be valid IN A GENERAL WAY but Donald Trump is the answer? DONALD TRUMP? The TV celebrity questionable "billionaire" who says "You're fired" and acts like an idiot?

Being anti-establishment is one thing IF Trump could change the Establishment. But he won't, and can't, and is only interested in the Donald Trump brand. So while I understand the appeal of a non-Washington politician running things DONALD TRUMP is not the guy for the job.

Once people realize this we're fucked, of course. LOL

No, Trump isn't the answer. But it's a start, and the best option out of the cards you've been dealt. Trump disrupted the status quo for a bit, and that hasn't happened as long as i or you've been alive.

About him being corrupt: Maybe. Maybe he has done some shady things for his businesses, like putting money on tax beneficial islands. But that's what every single person with a lot of money does, from persons to multinationals, and it's not illegal.

His alleged corruption pales in comparison to the corruption of the average Washington career politician, which is always at the expense of citizens. Illegal wars, "interventions" and hundreds of thousands of deaths. Those kind of things are in a whole other league, and are actually damaging to the world.

Agreed. Good points but the problem I personally have with Trump is this:

The predictions/hopes you have (and I share) that his election would disrupt Washington, shake things up and, in the end, make life better for all of us are not going to happen. Trump is a billionaire businessman, he will do what's best for billionaires and businesses. That will not trickle down to a better life for the average American.

The other problem I have is if the above proves to be true (Trump and his billionaire buddies get richer while we, the Middle Class, get squeezed even more) then the promises Trump has been saying will end up being just bullshit. I hate hypocrisy and having my intelligence insulted. So I think, in the end, despite all of Trump's words, the only people who will benefit from his Presidency will be Trump and his billionaire buddies.

did you bet your fortune on what you think it will happen?

i told you i made a bet and what i will win is enough. I am used to make my money with work and not with bets. and US have proven that funny things can happen when the voters out of the funny farm are the only ones who go to an election (but believe me the others learned it now)

i would NEVER bet that in this country things are going the expected way.
or do you know EXACTLY where you shit falls when it comes out of your ass?
see - THIS is the problem. no ass and no shit is calculable

but as THIS is the problem of the united states that NOBODY IN THE WORLD will ever trust you in the next few centuries - i will not only win my bet i will also laugh one week when your shit-oscar will be deleted. and that makes me more happy as money what i really do not need and where another one (trump himself and all you fucking assholes who follow him) made the work for me.

in a very limited form i even can agree with you.
and i think that there is NOBODY here in GF (however left he might be) who did not realize that this political comedy have to have an end.

there are people in this world who cut themselves an ear because they want to frighten their opponent, who can not see blood - HOW STUPID MUST THEY BE ?

if us voters would have elected a dog, a cow or a chimpanzee this joke would be the greatest voter joke in the worlds history and you can be sure I would be amused.

but WHY trump?
why not right away putin or kim or any grandson of idi amine?

ALL what this guy is proving right now is that any government with corrupt politicians on the payroll of the establishment is the MUCH MUCH smaller problem.

So I think, in the end, despite all of Trump's words, the only people who will benefit from his Presidency will be Trump and his billionaire buddies.
this is already the case.

look what he did to the dodd frank act - this law was made to protect the normal people from getting ripped.

and we SAW what happend with their money in the hands of gamblers.
even trump should know that.

what did he try with obamacare ?

instead of limiting the ripp off from pharmacy a private medical care companies he increased their privateer licence.

he was talking against the so called establishment - WO ARE the guys in his near if not exactly THIS establishment ?

he wants to make a muslim ban but only on countries where he does not have a golf resort or a tower with his name.

he was blaming the obama government using faked numbers in regards to the unemployment rate and in the NEXT WEEK after he sit in the oval office he was PROUDLY presenting the same numbers as true and as a result of his work.

HE was the one called rasmussenreport a reliable source on 26.th of january when their
polls showed 44% agree with him and 31% not.
NOW he calls them fake polls because the numbers changed to
27% approve and 48% disapprove.

HOW can anybody expect that this guy would go into another election. that would be the final knock out for the reps. they would loose their mayority in congress and senat with this donkey in the front line.

this is also the reason why i am pretty sure that THEY will kick him out to save their own faces.

away from the damage trump have done already IN the country he have made an even bigger damage in the world. Only thing USA is trusted for at the moment is implausible and untrustworthy. he thinks that the world needs USA more as USA needs the world and this is a BIG BIG error.

I believed that at the very least he will be impeached. Hopefully he will be removed from office.

The complete lack of political experience in the Trump administration has led us here, and will continue to lead them. No one in the Trump administration has any political experience at all. Their incompetence put them in this position.

They seem to think they are smart but fail to understand their business skills do not apply here. In the business world two groups working together have a common goal. In politics it's sixteen groups who all have different goals, there are dozens of watchdog groups watching all of this go down, and there are a complex set of laws which clearly no one in the Trump campaign ever thought of.

In the mean time they are gutting every government office. Look at what Tillerson has done at the State Department. One year into his job he has accomplished nothing, and the most qualified staff is leaving.

This is insane.

THIS is exactly the point and if such a group puts a "my country first" on the flag we will end up in wars.
because exactly this "we are first" was leading to nearly all wars in the past.

modern politicians have learned that and they KNOW that every agreement they make can be only a compromise and not a win on one side only.

trump is a guy who takes big loans and when it comes to pay them back "fuck you".

an individual can do that and at the end of the day he will not get a loan anymore.
someone who is acting for a country is acting in every citizens name - every companies name - every politicians name.
this is NOT a personal decision to be an asshole or not an asshole.

look asia. he was here and said he made great contacts. he made a fuck because the asians already went a few steps further and enlarged the cooperation within asia.
and they will expand that to the european union in the next few months.

what USA gets now from there is just a polite gesture but nothing what will bring even one job to the states.

aisa and europe will make a fortune alone with new jobs in the environment saving.
3,1 million new jobs ONLY in solar energy - 10 million jobs in the other sectors of renewable energies and and this numbers will double if not triple in the next 10 years trump is proud to saved a few thousand coal worker jobs who will litter the environment with their work.

this guy is so far behind the reality that he can only make mistake after mistake.
