If Wal-Mart accidentally charges you $100 less than they should

Would you tell them?

How would this happen?

But no, if I went to purchase a TV for $799 and they charged me $699 I wouldn't question it. I would presume it was an offer I had missed or something.
If however I bought my weekly shop and it came to $102.30 and I was only charged $2.30 I would bring it up with the cashier and point out their mistake while pondering their stupidity.

Not me. I'd pay that $2.30 deal and get the hell out of there.

No moral compass. A shitty thing you'd do to hurt innocent people in your local community. Luckily they'd be able to tell it was you when they cashed out the register and you'd have to travel 20 miles to the next closest store every week because they'd ban you for your theft at your local shop.

Can't blame him though, that $100 would mean not having to go through KFC garbage bins for his dinner for a few nights.

It could have been marked down. Lot's of their items are marked down in the system but employees rarely ever mark them down on the floor. Especially in electronics.

My bank overpaid me $400 cash one day. I was already gone a day with the money. They had no idea what happened. So I called and told them I'd be dropping it off. The tellers are nice and know me by name so I didn't want one of them to get in trouble.

I got drunk with the commercial manager every once in a while so when he heard about it he gave me 250 air miles as a thank you from the bank. Not much, but better than a kick in the ass.

I stopped at an estate sale once and they had a Nikon 14mm 2.8. I knew it was going to be there, but not the price. I was one of the first in line and the first one to the table with it. Saw the $100 price tag and about shit myself. My gut feeling was to rush it to the checkout, pay and bolt out of there. But noooooooooooo I had to check out the rest of the house. Then I go to the checkout and one of the workers comes rushing over saying the price might be wrong. Now they want $800 for it. I suspect a jealous asshole in line somewhere behind me tipped them off. I actually ended up getting it for $300 that day after negotiation. Typically sold on eBay for $500+ at the time. I just wish I had left when I had the chance.

(I have tons of estate sale and garage sale stories like this... most with happier endings... for me! lol)

Nope. There was simply a price on it that I was willing to pay. Ever been to a flea market? Estate sales and garage sales is where they get their inventory from. If I don't buy it, some flea market vendor will and they'll gladly turn a profit on it.

People get offended by that sort of thing. Especially with those resale TV shows where they buy items below market value.

That is not even close to being the same scenario, but in the scenario that you just presented, if it were "drastically' under priced I would think that it was a typo and would call for a price verification. I am not out to cheat anyone, big company or the little person.

You are shady and have made that very clear, and there is not a way to justify it or backtrack from it. You are what you are.

I don't really watch prices when they ring me up. Most people get in the car or home and go I got fucked outta $5,$10,$20 etc... shit was on sale and it didn't ring that way and go back and get it corrected.

I don't go back so when I get a few buck deal don't feel guilty as know every time I got fucked I let it ride.

Figure it averages out, I get screwed no complaint, I get a deal I take it.

Hoping 51% of the time I get a deal so it averages out.

these threads are always awesome to weed out who you can do business with - if somebody is willing to cheat for $100, why would they be honest with you?

Not that Nazi26z actually does business here though...

So the Ukraine was invaded by me personally, or it was invaded by you and your mom, clown?

BTW, Georgia was not invaded at all. It was bitch slapped for its crimes, which is a big difference: EU blames Georgia for starting war with Russia - Telegraph

Go continue sucking an HIV-infected dick, because it's the only thing you can do better than everything else.

Once in my life when I was about 3-4 year old I did steal a car keychain like this from my cousin:

I still do remember it and I feel bad for that I did. I was not punished because nobody knew about that case. I believe I've punished myself for taking something that does not belong to me.

Of course. You aren't hurting walmart by doing this - you're hurting the employee who made the mistake. Point out the error, pay the proper price and you'll feel better knowing you saved someone from getting fired.
