There will be a day when anyone wanting to see trees will have to go to a museum.

well that's just it. There is both beauty and horror in every generation. cherry picking from any particular one is a little ridiculous. however some cleaner air and water back then no doubt. May smell more like manure in that shot though..

in some ways i wish i had been born much earlier. being a teenager in the 50's would of been cool but we have no control over when we are born so don't feel so high and mighty over something so random. you can guarantee i won't be here when i'm 80 if i'm lucky enough to live that long.

Del Monte 100% Juice Sliced Peaches, 15.0 OZ $1.23 today (Walmart)

Inflation adjusted, the 1960 29 cents is $2.43 today

Porn is like that can of peaches -- commoditized by the freemium as opposed to commoditized by lower cost store and generic brands of canned peaches.

I came of age in the 50s and it was an incredible time to be alive if you wanted to live it.

There were opportunities galore because government was pro-money and regulation was viewed as being communist.

Just the same if you did have to kick someone's ass no one called the cops as long as you didn't kill the guy.

Both have changed a lot.

For the most part food in my day wasn't shipped around the world. It pretty much was grown within an hour or two of where you lived. As for the meat the animals weren't forced to live in 6ft deep of their own shit. Plus everyone knew someone that hunted and you could fish right out of the Saint Laurent.

Now women have changed a hell of a lot!
