World champ competitor Sifiso Thabete tried to perform his trademark move in front of crowds at a contest on Saturday

A BODYBUILDER has died after landing on his head in a botched backflip caught on camera.

Sifiso Thabete broke his neck after trying to perform the trick at a competition in South Africa.

I've always wondered if people who do back flips ever thought that one mistake could end their life -- or put them in a wheel chair. It takes those special people who don't think about possible consequences to be able to do back flips. That and a good set of quads.

Does anyone know what the actual injury was other than a broken neck? Like specifics. Between which vertabrae, was it snapped it 2? Etc. news papers need to spill it more indepth for the people who want to know.
