And you act like temperature recordings going from -10 Celsius to 13 Celsius is proof global warming doesn't exist. Likes like me saying the 3 elected Republicans having to resign over the last 3 months for being jailed for incest, child prostitution and child porn means all Republicans are pedos and it's a conspiracy.

But not in your mind. In your mind conspiracies only go one way, against anyone anti Trump, Democratic, global warming, equal rights etc.

To an equal rights person you'll post bad stuff minorities do to prove they're all bad , etc. etc.

That's your way of being team Trump

Its amazing really isn't it that Australia needs measuring devices now that go 10 below zero.

Weather records here have been smashed this year, its the middle of winter here now, Monday was 80f normally its around 60-70, was the hottest July day in a 100 years week before that we had the coldest, this years major concern is hardly any rain but no doubt it will be flooding soon.

The extremes of weather are certainly getting worse we are seeing swings of 50f from one day to the next.

Sorry I don't visit the Daily Caller. I do read Breitbart, The Hill and Real Clear Politics daily though.

I could post a story from the lead guy at the agency with a quote saying he fudged the numbers, and you'd think nothing was wrong. I am saying there was data being done wrong. Intent or not to be decided.

Get government money out of all business and lets see what happens to the climate change crowd. If the gravy train dries up, does the stories and reports and studies dry up too. I suspect the landscape would be drastically different.

When the scientists and their studies start to string together major correct predictions for a decade, I'll start to listen with more urgency. And when the people that spout and talk climate change start to seriously act like its an issue, I'll take notice in a more serious manner as well. Until then I will continue to recycle. Continue to walk when I don't need to ride in a car/uber. And keep believing that man's impact on climate change is on the margins of influence.

Guys reality check... Population of Thredbo is.. less than 500 people.

Australia has 20,089 points where weather is monitored, 2 or even 200 being out is less than 1%

So that might just be the wrong article to be justifying your denials on.

What you want to take from that article is they are having to upgrade the monitors because of the extremes of weather we are now experiencing, and that's Hot and Cold.

Certainly in the 25 years I have lived in Aus, its been getting warmer in the state I live in.

The Earth is warming, so you feeling it getting hotter over the past 25 years makes sense. We are coming out of an ice age. The debate would be (at least for me) how much of that slight increase over that span is due to natural forces and how much is man made. How good is the Earth at being able to adapt itself to survive wild changes over the course of history, and if given time will it adapt to man's influences. And lastly how much money and resources of the governments should be thrown at the issues.

For me, I think the impact of man on the increase is on the margins. I think the Earth has proven to be very adaptable. That doesn't mean I don't think its a good idea to have replanting rules when doing logging. I also think over fishing is a concern. I am not a fan of giving tax credits to green energy companies, or any energy company. Nor giving tax credits to people buying these things. Just as I think its bullshit for the government to give credits to oil and gas, or coal mines, or bailouts to car companies. When the demand and need is ready, things will fail or succeed on their own.

There is a balance to be found somewhere of what are good things to strive for, and what should be monitored but left to the free market to decide when something is ready for the masses. Trying to reduce smog and provide good air quality is a good thing. Keeping waterways clean is a good thing. Breathing and drinking water are keys to life.

Or maybe I should stop caring at all, and just go fullblown green and try to cash in on the bonanza. Al Gore is a smart man for seeing a cash cow and selling it.

Then we will always disagree because I don't believe that leaving state of the planet to short term human consumption and greed is a good idea. I also think that the more money that can be thrown at alternatives to fossil fuel is money well spent, putting that in perspective trillions have been thrown at fossil fuels simply because the companies extracting them have been funding Governments worldwide for the past 100 years.

The only reason we don't have a better alternative right now is because of that.

And you better wake up real fast that there's a new world order, and billions more humans arriving, and a new energy source's will be needed to sustain that. If we remain dependant on fossil fuels its game over, more likely man made (war) than natural.

The country who needs clean, non fossil fuel based energy the most is China and if America and the rest of the world does not develop it.. they most certainly will and when that day comes.. and it will, USA and Russia will both be equally fucked along with most western countries and for no bigger reason than.. Oil companies don't rule China.

Dude, the entire Earth has warmed by 0.2 of ONE degree over the last 100 years.
If it's been warmer in your mind the last 25 years...it's not from "climate change". You wouldn't even notice that difference.

What you have noticed is different meteorological patterns and events.

For instance, when I was a baby...my family in Central Florida had pictures of my grandfather holding me in a citrus grove where all the giant sprinklers had 25 foot streams of water frozen solid coming out of them.

They took those pics because it was something that just doesn't happen in Florida very often.

And then there were years where hurricanes ravaged Florida. Some of the worst were in the late 1800's.
And then there will be years and years with no real powerful hurricanes ever hitting the land there.

Out here in Vegas...the summer is always scorching. But a month ago a front moved in from the Pacific and we had about a week of weather that was about 20 degrees lower than normal.
Once that low pressure front moved...it was right back to boiling temps.

None of that had anything to do with "climate change"...much less "man-made" climate change.

Believe me...if man had the ability to change the climate, we would all be living in a perfect paradise.
But we aren't, because people are nothing in the grand scheme of things.

If the world is destroyed...it won't be from fossil fuel.
It will be either a large meteor strike, a massive volcanic eruption, or nuclear war.

Robbie, you don't really believe this. You saw what it was like in the 70's. You know that we had smog and now we don't. You saw litter everywhere. You have seen the impact of pollution control. I am surprised that you can keep this stance.

Smog is air pollution. Bad for you to breathe. "Litter everywhere" was also a problem.
Both have been cleaned up. Cleaning up the environment you live in is an absolute must.

Trying to claim that we somehow can control the climate of the Earth? That's a whole different subject than pollution.

And I'm telling you...again...the study that has all these dire predictions also says very clearly that there is NOT a damn thing we can do about it.

Are you getting that part? Or are you just ignoring it?

That study predicted the planet would warm by up to 2c and WE are also on track to add 2c if not more, which is more dire than, temps may raise 2c because it 2+2=4

Like I said no more Soyabeans no more cotton, USA's two biggest exports.

But forget about the weather, because I believe fossil fuels are dead anyways. Paris accord and all that is more about encouraging countries to put more $$ in to renewable energy.

China needs more energy, LOTS MORE, they don't have the oil reserves of other countries. What they have is more people, more money and more education. They are on track to add 850 MILLION more middle class earners in the next 20 years. And that is the big game changer, its not a prediction, its happening RIGHT NOW.

China has announced its putting $360 billion into renewables and has stopped construction or planning on over 100 coal plants.

2017 is a ground breaking year, because around the world, renewable energy, solar/ wind/ wave and the likes has become as cheap if not cheaper than, fossil fuels to produce.

If Robbie and Trump want to ensure America's future then they will need the cost of fossil fuels to drop by at least 90%, to even be competitive in the next 20 years, because certainly the cost of renewables will be. You also need consumer attitude to change because how polluted you country is will dictate how much you will get for your product's.

We can't stop plus two which you see on the chart is a big deal as the 2000 years only has a .9 range. We need to keep it from going higher. They are predicting 2 degrees as a given. Would 3 be a disaster? Who knows? The question is do we ant to find out. You and I will be dead so rock on.

Robbie, there are areas of Canada that can now grow corn, that could not do this before. Not a big stretch to think the corn belt would drift north over time and we would lose some here in the us and they would gain up there. Not a huge deal unless you are in the area that is lost.

Huge change is scary to people. I think humans will survive but at what cost?

Soybeans and cotton?
WTF? Are you here from the 1800's on a fucking time machine?

Here were the USA's top TEN exports. No Soybeans or cotton to be found:
1. Machinery including computers: US$190.5 billion (13.1% of total exports)
2. Electrical machinery, equipment: $167.2 billion (11.5%)
3. Aircraft, spacecraft: $134.6 billion (9.3%)
4. Vehicles : $124.3 billion (8.5%)
5. Mineral fuels including oil: $94.7 billion (6.5%)
6. Optical, technical, medical apparatus: $82.0 billion (5.6%)
7. Plastics, plastic articles: $58.4 billion (4.0%)
8. Gems, precious metals: $57.8 billion (4.0%)
9. Pharmaceuticals: $47.1 billion (3.2%)
10. Organic chemicals: $33.9 billion (2.3%)

Also, you are STILL believing that nonsensical "prediction"
DUDE, THEY HAVE BEEN WRONG EVERY TIME ON EVERY "PREDICTION" FOR 50 YEARS.

Not just a little off...or once in a while...but EVERY time.

Tell that to Germany, they want an extra gas pipeline for gas from Russia.
And than we compete to get the schale gas from Ukrain.

I thought we didn't need more fossil fuel?

"Germany Is Addicted to Russian Gas"
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...kel-s-backyard

Gas is little less bad as coal..

Great isn't it, Germany secure their energy needs and help Putin gain more power over Europe (the rest of the EU don't like the plan).

And China is getting more gas from Russia also starting in 2019
https://www.rferl.org/a/russia-gazpr.../28596838.html
it is "natural" gas. That sounds less worse.

"But natural gas has a climate downside—it’s mostly composed of methane. “Methane is a potent greenhouse gas,” said energy researcher Adam Brandt of Stanford University. The gas is about 30 times better at holding in the atmosphere’s heat compared with carbon dioxide. So if enough methane leaks during production, natural gas’s slim advantage over other fuels could be wiped out."

Robbie the slight issue with those export numbers for example Apple

Apple exports 100's of millions of dollars worth of Phones and computers to Australia a year.. YAY Export!
But its a load of crock, they are made , packaged and posted.. from China
So what was exported from the USA?.. Oh pretty advertising pictures and tv commercials.

And as for the prediction with China being out, your correct! First it was 100 years then 50, then 20 and now they are saying less than 15. Same with the predictions with on Alternative energy, and that's why alarm bells are going off. And a government can either steer their population on a successful course or on a crash course and everything I have seen Trump do.. is crash. Putting the USA back on a fossil fuel course is nothing less than stupidity, I'd even go as far to say suicidal especially when your biggest rival.. China is pumping every resource in to it. .. you think the Chinese are stupid?

Hypocrits
Every western country is using more energy than they can produce.

What happens to Russian gas, once a solar setup to power a house indefinitely falls below $500 bucks??? Whats your plan b for income because that $500 dollar barrier will come.

'Climate change denial' is a thing. Think about that. Science, or propoganda?

They've started applying the phrase 'climate change' to historical education. Did it kill brown folks? No, but white people did, and whitey is bad

It's pointless discussing China or anywhere else, because 'climate change' is simply yet another narrative to shame whites and make them pay for it. The sooner we move beyond our capacity to be shamed, we'll call out this crap for the extortion that it is, and it will benefit the planet as a whole. Each people should have the right to live by its own morality, and not the one dictated by the globalists

That doesn't matter. Germany spents billions of euro's for a gas pipeline, made a deal what they see as "the red devil" to use more fossil natural gas, what is as bad as coal. While they pretend to safe the world and saying that Trump is destroying it.. Merkel has strong pipelines to Putin.

It simply amazes me that people like Robbie are so fucking brainwashed they will argue in favor of having to pay for gas, oil or coal when there is literally free renewable energy at their finger tips. Whats even more sad is they attempt to claim they are business smart while arguing aginst renewable power and tech that can make them energy and financially independent from power companies.

It is because all the scientist agree it exists. Seriously, this is a really odd thing. Republicans control every branch of the fed and tons of the states and you think they are forcing climate change down your throat? Who is the "they."

Acid rain was destroying the Black Forest. They had to make a change. Now they have embraced wind and solar. I think historically the Germans have been pretty responsive to science.

Anyone who points out what reality is, equals shoveling it down their throats. They by and large as a group live in this made up fantasy land of make believe where all their failed logic actually works..Nothing you can ever say will change their mind because they are brainwashed like a relgious cult..
