It's one way to cut out the high costs of US dental care.

Let's be real, both Canada and the USA have a habit of ripping off their own citizens and using insurance to do it. Without any sort of insurance here because my "wife" refused to sign the papers to allow me to get it. I am able to go to a dentist...for a much cheaper rate than in Canada. Like way way less. I went to see a doctor here about a pinched nerve/tendon in my left arm from doing pullups. Got cortisone shots and an xray and advice. $54.
Everything is a rip off...buy a water at a baseball game you pay what? here it is mandated at 1 dollar...its friggin water |

The average family living wage in Mexico is 4955.00 pesos nationally, more in major cities and with training (that's $260.00 per month).
The average dental assistant or certified dental technician makes between $40K to $77K a year in the USA. If the quality of the dental work is good -- why not? If you live near the border or want to travel -- that expense needs to be considered also. Medicine and Dentistry is a loosely organized cartel in the USA. However there is a major cost of labor consideration. |

Its funny Paul that you dont complain about your own country as much as you complain about the US. Its also odd that you complained so much about Obamacare yet here you are complaining that US healthcare costs so much...

Paul pounds on every aspect of America 24/7. Paul doesn't pound on Britain 24/7 ,almost never even mentions his home country. Never mentions problems with Czech where he's lived for decades. Never. Never! He's always shit talking about America. Nico-T is always shit talking about America every day. Wehateporn is always shit talking about America every day. All the shit talkers constantly hating on America here 1) usually don't list where they live 2) never say anything negative about where they live 3) think they know everything about living in America & American life. It's bizzare and cowardly. Paul doesn't do it in a cowardly way, if you ask him about Czech he'll answer. The others hide their countries or refuse to answer about life where they live. |

I completely agree with Paul on raising these issues and spreading awareness...We do not want this US racket spreading to Europe and it is of critical importance to get as many people against this as possible...my dentist drives a 2 year old BMW X5 he asks for 20$ for a filling... my surgeon took $80 for my surgery he has 2 brand new german cars and a private clinic...
fuck the US medical racket in all holes...

There is a premium price to pay for quality health and medical care. The question is, how much is too much.
About 12 years ago I visited a in network dentist in OC, California seeking the free dental cleaning with the out of pocket co-pay of 15 USD. Instead what my wife and I got was a 12,000 USD estimate for suggested work that needed to be done. WTF! I happen to be traveling in Europe and the FSU countries. We visited two private clinics that overcharged us because we we're foreigners. We paid about 500 USD. Keep in mind that each of those clinics where considered the best in the city capital, and frequented by local politicians and wealthy society folks. My impacted molar was removed for 60 USD, and a panoramic dental x-ray was either 8 or 10 USD. No one suggests that a dentist should or could work for such little money, but the overall system we have in the US is broken. For the 11,500 I coincedendently saved ... it opened my eyes to the meaning of medical tourism. I can take a month long holiday outside of the country, get myself fixed up more ways than one, and still have 6000 USD remaining in my pocket after all expenses.

As for things wrong in Czech. We have a small problem with gipsies, but apart from that life is good here. We send enough of the low skilled to work outside the country it's fine here. |

and the high skilled workes in the country where they got throwing out will have to make their low skilled jobs there. you should decide what you are, apul - are you a globalist? than live with the positive and negative aspects - or are you not a globalist - then do the same !!!! you want to pick the positive only but i think you are old enough that you have leaned in your live that there is NO MEDAL with just one side. |

not a bad idea !
but the same you can do with everything not only with healthcare. a nation who think they are the best in everything should not be scared that they can not compete in anything, right? and that is the basic idea behind globalism: everybody does what he can do best what makes services and goods better and cheaper. |

Wait you mean like those Carrier Jobs Trump said he saved and they got 7 million dollars of tax breaks because they said they were saving jobs, but now those jobs are going to Mexico?
See Paul, not only did you completely ignore my statement about you bitching endlessly about Obamacare and then turning around and bitching at people trying to get affordable dental work.. You also ignore that Trump lies about saving jobs.. You just believe what you want to hear, regardless if the facts say otherwise.. You gonna bitch about this????? When will you finally wake up to the fact Trump is full of fucking shit? Why do you care anyway? You live in a 3rd world country as an ex pat from your own.. You are a hypocrite.. You left your own country so you could shoot models for pennies on the dollar of what you'd have to pay in your own country, then have the gull to complain that people go to another country to get cheaper healthcare and whine about jobs being lost? YOU DID the same fucking thing.. Hundreds Of Carrier Factory Jobs To Move To Mexico : NPR

Trump promised to do something about the jobs issue. He may not do anything about it, but then Clinton said she would do nothing to stop it and has done nothing stop it in the years she's been in politics. More worried about toilet issues. Out of the two terrible Healthcare policies, Obamacare is the less bad. But there are better systems all around the world. The Dental issue is because US healthcare fucks Americans. Trump may be full of shit, but so is Clinton. My continual message is to break the hold big business has on the political system, but stupid Americans can only vote for the people big business gives them. Those above are facts. Your dislike for Trump is fine, but why do you like someone who has dedicated her life to making you poorer? |

It depends on how one lives, not where one lives.
Because it's clear that many Americans now live in Third World conditions is a First World country. |

Just as an anecdote I for one always donate to beggars that claim to be Vets. I got semi acquainted with one as I frequently saw him at the same spot day after day and often gave him money. I was in a bar one day and he came walking into the bar. I offered to buy him a drink but he instead offered to buy me one. We ended up having several drinks together and he let me in on a little secret. He was a veteran alright, but was retired from the military and got a healthy retirement check each month and he was not homeless as the sign said that he held up in his hands when he was out begging. He actually had a small but nice apartment in a relatively nice part of town. Not everything is always the way they appear to be. |
