Not all fires are the same. Not all buildings are same. And this wasn't just a fire. Someone else posted a picture of all of the damage the building had from the falling of the two towers.

They were meant to, but the plane headed for WTC7 got delayed and shot down, this caused confusion as to whether to demo it or not, they wouldn't destroy it unless they knew they would receive an insurance payout
