Actually it is a little over 30 days. It has been said many times that to form a new habit you need to do something on a regular basis for at least 3 weeks so I try to make it 30 days to be certain I am giving it a chance. What can I say other than I am an "experience freak". I have eaten camel meat in Egypt, posed as a twink when I was 21 and won a hot jock contest at a gay bar in Key West, smuggled drugs from Denver to various spots in the mid west (pot, coke and MDMA) in college via Amtrak, back packed through France extensively visiting various Chateaus and having a spiritual journey each time I visited variou dégustations and sampled wines that put anything else in the world to complete shame.

Even though I have been liberal on some issues such as environment, gay marriage, and reproductive rights I never considered myself to be liberal as a whole.

I realized I had hit the 30 day mark of my new self when I was talking to Mike who works in the produce section of Whole Foods. We were talking about LGBT issues and how it makes absolutely no sense that anyone would want to stop gays and lesbians from getting legally married. Then we started talking about how all people in planet Earth have a right to clean water and nutritious food regardless if they can pay for the food or not. So I guess you could say that is a communist type of ideal. Also it seems illogical that a human should be able to own a piece of land and put of fences around it. After all, if I am born on this Earth then do I not have a human right to eat the food that grows from it and walk the lands freely?

I am not joking I am really beginning to see the light and find that liberal/Globalist ideals are actually more logical than conservative views. Plus I am generally much more happy and have a smile on my face more often because I am not so angry and bitter all the time. You guys should try it for at least 30 days just like me and tell me if you do not feel better and have a more optimistic view of the future. I guess you could say that living as a liberal globalist has given me hope again. Perhaps I may have slipped up and made a few posts that seem anything but liberal but that was just me burning off my last fumes and having growing pains.

Ok someone please tell me how to join a Marxist organization. I cannot get any of them to email me back. Ideas please! Thank you!

Far left nutjobs are as disturbing as far right nutjobs, the difference is far left nutjobs migrate more to the center as they get older and idealism wanes through experience. Far right nutjobs stay the same through life, other than excluding more and more people from their life, there's no evolution they will forever be the rigid get off my lawn guy watch the world pass them by.
