I think Far Cry 2 was an experiment to take things further and while I appreciated what they were trying, gameplay just ended up being tedious, frustrating and boring. A little too realistic and the traveling was mind numbing. But I wouldn't call it a failed experiment because they honed the experience to make three and four perfect games.

Yeah FC2 was pretty ok in my book as well, not great but playable once thats for sure. But I keep coming back to FC3 every 2-3 years.. its a perfect game
