Bank Of America help needed.

Any BOA users here? I need some help to explain a client the ACH payment with BOA. The guy has a BOA account but finds it extremely difficult to add me as a payee and process ACH then.
I suspect it's under 'Transfers' tab, but since I'm not a BOA client I can't really expedit the process myself.

How would you add a person to transfer an ACH via BOA, screenshots would really help.

Transfers >>
Send money using an account number at Bank of America
Google Images: (if you Google the above term you'll see BofA screenshots)
If they need to add you as a new recipient, they just need to confirm by entering their own full primary debit or cc card info.

Bank of America also has pretty good support. Have your client contact their chat support or phone support and they will walk him through it.

I did Youtibe it even Bitch shows only PayBills and Send to someone else using email or phone. My account is not in BOA. No video to send ACH to someone else with another
bank.

He also says tho he can only send to Vendors and Pay bills using eCheck... I suspect it's not ACH.

I mean don't know for sure, it's about him sending ACH to a Payoneer given account that states that no other transfers except ACH can be accepted.

Guess he would have to, my only concern that I have a client doing so from a BOA account and he does it well but here I face questions ... can it be different users use different features with BOA?

Certainly. They have many different packages and online documentation is often incorrect or outdated. His best bet is to contact their support for assistance. The live chat is quite good.

It's simple to do, as described above.

Transfers >> at Bank of America

Could he be making an excuse to delay payment?

Thanks for your input. I believe it's right there, but when you click further will you get
SEND ACH option or something?

I have a US bank routing number and account, the only condition it can land an ACH only, no wire or any other transfer type.
Will you be able to post a screen shot what's next? What are the options?

Also, if it says eCheck - is it the same as ACH?

Not really. He says he has a eCheck payment option. But I can't really tell if it's the sameas ACH. Theoretically, eCheck is an ACH type of payment, but i may be wrong.

My account at Payoneer is restricted to this:

Please Note!
Only ACH (US local bank) transfers in USD can be accepted
Transfers must be made from a company account
Transfers from individuals will be automatically rejected
Wire transfers are not supported
Transfers made from a company account owned by you cannot be accepted

Only ECheck eh? The only way to pay you electronically that takes the longest period of time. Damn

Can it be he is restricted to some options only? He has a biz account. He says he can see Vendors / Bills pay and the only option is eCheck.

The next screen is where you enter the account and payee information.

I believe that to make something go ach you just use the ach routing number which is different then the regular bank routing number.

From BOA help:
Quote:
What is the Automated Clearing House (ACH) number?

The Automated Clearing House (ACH) is an electronic payment delivery system which allows you to make payments or collect funds electronically through the ACH network. We can help you take advantage of the speed and efficiency of electronic payments and collections available through the ACH network, giving you better control over the timing of payments that post to your bank account(s). ACH transactions are usually next-day entries when exchanged with other financial institutions. ACH functions include direct deposits and check conversions from paper to electronic.

For ACH transactions, please use the routing number for electronic transactions.

Hm...

A US bank account, a bank routing number but all I need is an ACH transfer method. I thought ACH was something Americans are used to before they were given a joy of Wire transfers, damn.

ACH is only within the US Federal Reserve member banks (US banks only)
ACH requires the ABA routing for the bank and the account number at that bank.

ACH is similar to EFT/SEPA in the ECB

Effective September, 2017 all ACH transactions are to be made available the next banking business day

The bank should have 3 routing numbers a regular one for paper, one for electronic (ACH) and one for wire transfer.

If you use the electronic routing number it goes by ACH.

I think.

If you gave him your correct bank info and that's what he added he can send you and it'll be instant. If someone has a different bank they will charge $3+ plus a 2 biz day delay.

if you have a business BOA account it's absolutely the best business banking I've ever used. Instant wires with no hassle even sending 10k intl. If you have a biz account you can ACH anyone in the US with just their checking info, normal ABA Routing and Acct #, available the next business day. Though it will cost you a few dollars to send it.

I couldn't agree more. BofA is very business friendly and the personal and business bankers are knowledgeable and service oriented.

It sounds like to me this guy is just using his confusion as an excuse to delay payment.

I believe so.

Here's what I have so far:

Now, which one is to choose ACH?? The $10 one?
