Mom shot in the head in front of her child on Mother?s Day

A 32-year-old woman was shot in the head in front of her infant child as she argued with her boyfriend at their Queens apartment on Mother?s Day morning, police sources said.

The woman was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition.

Neighbors in the couple?s building on 78th Road near 141st Street said they heard screaming before hearing the gunshot around 9:40 a.m.

?In the morning I hear the bang and the screaming,? said one neighbor, who declined to give her name.

?They were fighting and then ?bang!'?

?She has a three or 4-month-old baby. She got shot.?

Another neighbor said she encountered the panicked victim in the hallway after hearing the shot.

?She said, ?he shot me,'? said the second neighbor. ?She had black all over her face from where the gun went off.?

?She said, ?I was shot'?.

?We all heard the pop. We heard arguing before it. They are [in the apartment] directly above us.?

Police took the woman?s 43-year-old boyfriend into custody at the scene are currently interviewing him. Charges against him are pending, police said.

The mother isn't a welfare recipient and their Asian babysitter (pictured above) was witness to the crime and called the police.

An Ivy League educated PHD and 20+ year family therapist one commented to me about a woman who shot a man in a similar situation "I wonder what he did to make her shoot him". This is the common potato headed response to a woman committing an act of violence against a man including cruel things like cutting off his penis. Why is not anyone saying the same thing in this case? Gender Privilege anyone?
