Hidden Figures - Wernher Von Braun

I saw a commercial about a movie on the NASA program called Hidden Figures. It is about some women doing math on the rocket program.

Looks good.
But I would like to see a good movie about Wernher Von Braun. Looks like a more Interesting guy.
I heard he spoke with Martin Luther King in private once. I wonder what was said.

I don't imagine that Von Braun said,

"HI! I'm the subhuman scumbag that not only built all those rockets that were dropped on London during world war 2.... BUT I'm also responsible for human beings being strapped to those rockets and launched into water, etc so that we could gain data on such acceleration would effect them. "

I saw Hidden Figures the other night. It was good! I don't think it was the amazing movie that everyone says it is, but it was still good. I never knew the story about the ladies (called Computers back in the day) behind Nasa. Really interesting. I think I will go buy the book this weekend.

love or hate von braun his contributions to modern rocketry were without equal, the whole idea of a multi staged approach was his and his team. without his contributions we would never have made it to the moon as quickly as we did.....oddly his multistaged approach was shelved by scientists for years before they realized what a great idea ir was. His calculations for what it would taket, rocket wise, to reach Mars were pretty much dead on, you have to remember that during his work we still had not put anything into orbit...and wouldnt for almost 20 years.

WVB is one of those people who certainly set the course for history.

Wernher Von Braun is father of the US space program.

In fact, he would make a good story really.

Too bad I wasn't old enough to join the military in world war 2 because I would have put a bullet in that Nazi's skull. - Then burned all his research so that nothing of him remained.

Mike I meant no offense to you but there are 2 things that piss me off. The Klan and Nazi scientists.

I see your point. But the space race was also the arms race. US and Russia were in fear of each other.

I remember my Grandpa saying that he and his tank crew captured an SS guy. The SS guy told my Grandpa that the US would fall to the Russians.

no offense takin..Im pragmatic...the most rewarding time of my life was working in the space program it isnt that I am overlooking one thing or another its just that it is all past so take the good that came from it and move forward and hopefully learn from the bad, I am not one of those people who wants to attack someone I disagree with we can both be roght and we can both be wrong usually its a little of each. Everyday I learn from people with whom I disagree..that has value to me.

Whaaaaaaaat?

The drawings of the first multistage rocket were made by Conrad Haas in 1556. In 1935 Konstantin Tsiolkovsky has made a statement that the multistage rocket is the only way to reach the first cosmic velocity with the existing technologies:

First multistage rocket which has sent a satellite to the Earth's orbit was constructed by Sergei Korolev. Nazi bastard Von Braun has always been 2nd.

It really disappoints me that Russians need clueing in on the whole "pro-white vs anti-white" thing.

Communism really fucked y'all, and you're getting nostalgic for it, judging from what I saw of Victory Day.

I didn't get it. Do you mean the victory day parade? I didn't watch it because I don't like military parades and consider them as a stupid waste of money. I have no nostalgia about Soviet times just because I hate commies. On the other hand, my hate to commies doesn't make me feel good about Nazi scum like Wernher Von Braun. He was a butcher: an SS officer who did personally chose slaves for his factory. The guy who has invented the "easy method" to kill 1000's of kids and women in the UK. He was a true hero to lead the naZional space program in land of the free

I'm just old enough to remember the men coming home from WW2 and to have laid wreaths on the graves of family friends who died. Quite frankly I've seen a lot of history in my lifetime and it's amazing how many problems we have today that seem to trace their roots back to the monsters of WW2. So I know you worked for NASA but I would piss all over Von Braun's grave.

Anywho,
Do you remember Raul or Delaney Daniels from PST? Raul used to make some really great desktop wallpapers of the girls and I once shot Delaney at AVN. I frequently wonder what happen to those two characters. Oh.. and what about Jimmy D is he still shooting smut?

Here you go Rochard I uploaded this just for you

P.S. I just posted these clips for Rochard I don't know the history of Wernher Von Braun and what little I just read he seems a contraverdial character.
