Replacing bank wires: FirstChoicePay vs Paxum ?

An affiliate program I use has given me 12 days notice that they're no longer offering bank wires.

What's the difference between FirstChoicePay and Paxum? I know there was a recent thread about this, but GFY search is useless (it excludes the words "first" and "pay" from searches )

I just want to get funds sent to my bank account. I don't really want to dick around with prepaid cards. Is FCP or Paxum better for this?

Also how likely is it that I'll be able to get an account set up and active within 12 days?

I have both but only use their prepaid cards so I can't help-bump for you.

Cheers, that does seem a lot more reasonable.

I know I'm sounding like a grumpy old dinosaur, but I'm just nervous about a third party company handling payments. It's more convenient for the affiliate program but it introduces an unnecessary middleman. I currently receive the wire funds - automatically - into my account every second Tuesday (sometimes Wednesday) and have only had one wire lost in 10+ years. I doubt Paxum or FCP would be able to match that level of service.

The last third party payment processor I used (besides Paypal) was epassporte, and we all know how well that turned out.

Hi rowan,

I'd be happy to assist you with your account sign-up and any questions you may have.

We offer Wire withdrawal and EFT withdrawal to Australia. It's easy to sign-up with us, and we can get your account verified promptly. Personal account-holders need to provide a Picture ID and a Proof of Address for account verification.

Once you have established a routine of withdrawal through Paxum, your bank deposits should return to a regular schedule.

For your reference, my email is [email protected] and my Skype is PaxumRuth.

Thanks,
Ruth

Why don't they offer SEPA or ACH? Not available in their location?

From another thread

"ACH/EFT takes 5-7 business days"

I currently get my affiliate payment around 24-36 hours after they issue it. Now I have to wait 5 to 7 business days? This is what I mean by unnecessary middleman.

Word Bank account to account payment settlement is coming one day ... not this week. So, a few more days wait for your money. It is probably better (less expensive) to batch pay by wire to Paxum or Payoneer -- then you can waste your valuable time at the ATM machine and be paying ATM fees.

This way of doing business internationally is a joke. This retards international commerce development and business profits

5-7 business days is a Joke yeah! At least payoneer world ACH was 2 days and it was showing, instead of the usual US to US next day so that was fine...........but there is NO reason at all it should take that long, and even more so for wires......they hit within 2-3 days MAX, my canadian to US is same day. Tell your sponsor you're moving, or find a network that will actually do real business with you and they can take the risk of waiting for their assured profit margin (that's what they're there for). If they can't do wire or global ACH like normal then do paypal, there you have it instantly and can withdraw it to your bank next day. Even that is shitty which is why I only use paxum for a very few certain little things, getting my pay no way. With a sponsor or network already having you at a net 7 or net 14, tack on another 14 real days then, if all goes according to plan.

The advantage in paxum, if you have multiple affiliate accounts they could all send to paxum and you would have 1 transfer fee..

Yeah, of course would be easier if the affiliate program themselves set up ACH transfer, don't know why they don't. Must be extra work for smaller programs I guess..

Says 5-7 days for ACH/EFT but for ACH at least, haven't done EFT, it takes 2 days..

I was wondering same why is ACH so complicated for many programs, all you had to do is to open account in bank which support and that's it. Even if you are non-Us company you can do it, tho you need to travel to US to open bank account.

Usually you need incorporation in the US and some assets apart from the account in the same state or another jurisdiction the bank does business in.

Every US federally chartered bank I have dealt with has this policy. International banks may be a different story.

It is possible for a service company in the ACH 'zone' to make disbursements to you for a fee. However, today's AML laws may complicate things IDK. SEPA/EFT presents similar issues for US based businesses.

I´d choose firstchoice, even if an affiliate or model doesn´t have a card, it´s a simple sign up for the bank transfer using firstchoice, linking from your site & you can get a percentage too!

Yeah, that is very common. At least you are not wanting their card as well. That is another very long headache for a lot of people.

Did you reach out to Ruth about your ID issues?

Nah, not interested in referral commissions, I just want my money to get from sponsor to my account. I would rather not have to use either of these wholesale "money in motion" companies, but since the sponsor abruptly changed payment terms, I have no choice.

At this point I guess I may as well sign up for FirstChoicePay too.

Does FCP offer funds transfers to 'local' bank accounts, or just cash withdrawal via ATMs?

Just ATM withdrawals with their prepaid card if I'm not wrong.

Well, it's a beat scary to share a real estate on a thread here, especially when there are high esteemed veterans in the e-wallet services for the adult industry
The payment methods I can offer may vary by the specific affiliate market place, and geographic locations. I wouldn't yearn to present the service as an e-wallet, I specialize in payment solutions, hence getting the funds you earned online as effectively and directly as possible.
Feel free to ping me anytime, and I'll do my very best to cater to your requirements as a webmaster.

Both systems offer - in theory - to withdraw to your bank account.
I am suffering from the exact same issue.
Both services started declining my withdrawal claims, but Paxum - out of the sudden - finally did the withdrawal properly.
So my vote goes to Paxum here - especially because they have Ruth and support, while these two Payoneer-related things Do Lack the proper support.

It is a Fucking Shame though that we need to face this struggle. I have American partners who can't pay me easily [international bank wire] . Very very annoying!!!

Well noted. I would not compare myself to veteran forum presences. I will provide a tip though, wire transfers, bank transfers, electronic fund transfers, and withdrawal from an online or into an online e-wallet, are all different processes and actions. Installing a Java button is one thing, having an infrastructure behind it for sending a payment effectively is another.
You are always more than welcome to approach me for advise, and assistance.
