Why would you want to ship a pile of garbage into Amazon? You know hey raised all the storage fees right? They raised the fees and limited what you can sell via FBA because too many people were shipping a bunch of garbage and eating up all their warehouse space.

No no valuable garbage
I have a huge pile of calendars and planners and I can't get enough for them, myself, to justify the costs
But sold via FBA they'd sell through quickly and I'd at least make something

I always thought that storage charges kicked in after 90 days or so.. It's too bad if they made everything too expensive, now .. Do they still offer discounted inbound shipping for FBA ? How restrictive is everything now .. Pretty bad ??

Honestly, I'm not doing FBA, I sell Merchant fulfillment. I was going to start slowly building up FBA style inventory but then they started gating a bunch of stuff and then started charging more for FBA storage so I decided to hold off doing FBA.

Merchant fulfilled
Sounds delicious
That's pretty much drop shipping but a far less clunky process, right?

Honestly I can't remember at all why I cannot stand you- you seem to make a lot of sense

Politics is why.. 8)

Na MF isn't drop shipping, it's me holding the inventory and shipping for myself. FBA is by far the most hands off way of doing it. I don't do FBA at the moment mainly because the profits are a bit less and most of my inventory is ebay orientated.

I want to go 100% Amazon FBA but they made a bunch of changes to FBA and started gating more stuff, so I held off and just kept plugging along with mostly ebay for the time being. (Mainly because I have a ton of ebay inventory already)

Ah, yes, good old politics and religion ... Great for dividing human beings, always. YaY. We're all ridiculous idiots and everyone is right

I was thinking of something else .. LoL .... I know what merchant fulfilled is, what the fuck was I thinking. FFS. I'm tired, as fuck. Sigh.

EBay is good when it's good, that's for sure. I love hating them since I do not love them while I'm always hating them. When you get the limits off of your ass and you can use listing multipliers and some other shit you can get some serious numbers happening on there

Those assholes at paypal even gave me a loc I was able to repay as a percentage of sales and the minimum was extremely flexible in terms of time and dollar amt
They even let you decide what percentage of sales they take for repaying the loan.... Whatever it was I went for the more aggressive repayment option and it worked out fine
Most flexible line of credit I've ever SEEN for poor broke garbage people lacking credit and all

I hate paypal more than eBay

As an aside speaking to wanting to go FBA full time.. I remember back when I was doing eBay full time and local resale full time at all times and the 62 hour days and I UNDERSTAND
Looking back on it I definitely learned don't try to be super man since we're all human beings and human beings are .. Human

I'm thinking if I could go back I'd create my own FBA type of thing. I go hunt down the merchandise ... Online offline where ever .... Bring it or send it to who ever
It could be employees
It could be my subs
It could be a valet type service
WHO EVER IT IS
Next time as soon as I'm doing good healthy numbers I WILL force myself to step back and slow down and delegate

No more superman routine for me THAT IS FOR SURE

Well the nice thing about FBA, is it allows you to be superman.. Get a bar code scanner and a decent space to sort and prep inventory for shipment and you can easily list 100 unique items a day via Amazon FBA..

Meanwhile try to list 100 unique items in a day on ebay and I don't think it's remotely possible. The power of FBA, is the fact it allows you to deal with more product as a small operation.. The draw back is you pay for that ability with higher fees and storage costs on items that don't move fast. You also need much more money invested in product but have a much greater ability to move volume.

If I could start fresh again, I'd have gone right into FBA, but now I'm pretty heavily invested into ebay that I'm sort of stuck with that for the time being.

I mean it man this time I'ma not do as much at all

I've often found, that employees or bitches or paid homeless are usually more trouble than just doing it yourself...

With small operation depending on under 5 employees, you really need "GOOD" employees but usually you just end up with fuckwits. The larger your operations the larger percentage of fuckwits you can sustain, but at the end of the day unless you like micro managing people or want to grow large it's usually easier just to do it your self.. lol

Well I don't mean to sound like I'm a democrat like you apparently are infested with being, BUT, if you pay your people and take good care of them you'll have a far far better result. If it ends up being subs, they won't be paid, but they'll do good work - believe that- bigly good

No but I hired some assholes one time, my business partner back then was a horrifying serious business guy BUT he kept hiring $8 an hour morons --- one even fucking ran off with the truck for hours! !! -- another one was taking machines apart all over the yard , etc
I hired some fools and paid them nice money, paid them extra, bought them beer and food or whatever else --- pretty soon ONE machine was apart at once, the yard had rows and organization instead of being a huge pile of scattered trash, no vehicles were stolen and we made a sick ridiculous fortune
