texas...

Texas was the best state to make a living for 2015, moving up from 2nd place last year. Although average wages in Texas was only slightly above the national average, workers in Texas get good value from those wages.

Cost of living index: 94.4
Average wage: $45,330
State tax on average income: $0
Unemployment rate: 4.2 percent
Workplace illness, injuries and fatalities per 100 workers: 2.7

I call BS.. The oil industry jobs obviously skew the stats. I've seen real world pay in Texas and it damn sure doesn't hold up to other areas.

Basically what you have in Texas is a lot of companies which are based there that do a lot of their work out of state. Example the oil industry as I mentioned but also shit loads of Truckers in Texas. Truckers get better than average pay for example but not really that great when you count the entire time they are away from home.

Also there is a lot of high paying short term industry in Texas.. Like all those guys building the wind farms in West Texas. Those guys make really good money when it comes to construction work, but it's not life long work. It's a career that will last maybe 10-15 years in that state (meaning the building of the windmills) after that jobs transfer to maintenance which is different jobs but a lot less actual jobs. Also those Trucking jobs will go away in the next 15 years just like the Oil jobs will dwindle..

When you start looking outside those key industries that are booming in Texas ATM.. the other pay scales are much much lower.. Example look at the difference in pay for PHP developers in Austin or Dallas vs Boston.. Tx is not even close... Once oil is not the main economic driver for Texas and Truckers are replaces by self driving big rigs Texas will be looking pretty bad.. It's only good thing is cheap housing/land.. but fucking living there is hot as hell..

Blue collar wages in Texas pretty much compare to FL or other low paying southern/mid west states. Texas is only pumped up due to big oil and those days have limited future..

My guess is your stats are looking more at the number of people making over X amount of money and that has a lot to do with the population size..

in 2015... the current standings are.... nothing really past 2015. probably because it's so fucking bad everywhere and the Obama admin keep saying everything is fine... so no media would rock the boat. now the media will blast it out and blame trump. I saw an interview with G Ford, his comment was that it takes 4 years for administration policys to really show their effect.

I know you disagree and I also know that EVERY vendor I speak with tells me no one is doing well, and my account tells me the same thing and everywhere I go I see shops and restaurants closing up...

in 1980-1982 I was pulling 14 per hours as a an iron worker, building petro-chem and coal power plants.. BTW the only possible solution to the issues we all face is cooperation and meaningful dialog , not divisional politics, divisional politics ONLY provides paychecks for politicians. and fucking shit for us. having different opinion is a positive situation because then opportunities can come for both sides, studies have pretty much proven that no one person or group can supply all the answers needed for a society. one person I think can only supply 10%of the nesiaccry knowledge for problem resolution at a societal level.

if trump pulls things together it will be the last 4 years of Obama that is really in play, however what I see and many other s see if the first 4 years of Obama are readily apparent in all the economic failures we have now, and the world is definitely a more dangerous place, fuck the USA is a more dangerous place. the USA is the very best place to be, too bad there is a concentrated attack against the US and US polices by our very own news organizations and the 'shallow intellectuals' entrenched in our school systems.

these people are the very same people that put Stalin on the cover of time magazine while he was committing to genocide on the Russian people... and people in the streets like you were damn glad because anywhere is better than America... especially communist Russia.

anger is not a natural condition for a man or woman, if your life is filled with anger you are being manipulated on some level. my anger comes from childhood abuse, I've been able to dump 99% of the anger, but sometimes I still react... mostly I ride you because we really need your help as a society and people and I think you have been 'taken for a ride'

be well....
