OF COURSE he was wiretapped. wouldn't you WANT him to be as well? Since he was our next incoming president. Our intelligence agencies must know everything he was doing at that time, since he was about to take the highest office in the country.

How friggin idiotic is CNN to think he wasn't wiretapped? it's mandatory for incoming presidents to be wiretapped. (well, it's mandatory ....but their suppose to tell the public "nothing ever happened")

I agree what he did was stupid, but what CNN is doing is even stupider. Trying to fool the public that the wiretap never happened. (CNN is all about protecting our intelligence agencies....the whole network was practically bought out , behind the scenes when Obama was still in office)

With all the laws Trump has been found guilty of breaking and thousands of lawsuits (starting in the 1970's) he's never faced criminal charges only civil charges.

I can remember a few years ago, if CNN was on and they did a "Breaking News", you called everybody into the living room to watch it because something BIG had just happened.
Someone important was dead, we were going to war, etc.

The anti-Trump stuff seemed to have worked for them during the election (although, admittedly, all the news networks saw their ratings go up during the election) but their ratings have slumped since the election. To me, this means one of three things is likely true.

1. They simply aren't sure what to do. Just reporting the news doesn't draw in ratings so they have to have a slant and they haven't figured one out yet that can help them increase their ratings.

2. They don't care about making money and are just pushing their agenda.

3. They think they are doing the right thing and that if they just stick with it the ratings will eventually come.

I guess there could be combinations of those as well.

All I was trying to say is that CNN is a business, perhaps a poorly run one with an agenda, but still a business and they are not the CIA as the OP implies.

It's like watching "The View". Totally ridiculous.

That is why America is tuning out of CNN in droves.

Just google this: "CNN ratings"

And then start reading the results. It's a business nightmare for Time/Warner

The drop had more to do with election burn out more than anything but you are right though, they did have a bit of a dip lately compared to fox. I think the party bias in both are embarrassing though. People are most likely trying to find another outlet that can at least attempt at being neutral--i have myself even. WSJ seems ok economist.com seems to avoid the click bait crap too.
