Live feed of protest violence at UC Berkeley

***LIVE UPDATES*** MILO UC Berkeley Show Evacuated As Masked Anti-MILO Protesters Start Fires, Swarm Building - Breitbart

I find it funny that they protest someone who is gay and expresses a strong sexual preference for black men.

I don't understand how they can be so violent and intolerant when they preach the exact opposite. How can they not understand their own hypocrisy?

It's called fortitude. Being intolerant of the intolerant is perfectly logical.

I'm intolerant of your spelling of "intollerant".

Yet you don't have the capacity for logic and understanding protest in the face of intolerance. Truth hurt?

So rioting is OK for you so long as it's a group you like.

Ad hominem.

I understand your logic and reasoning. You are basically making the case for "justification":

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justif...(jurisprudence)

Quote:
Justification is a defense in a criminal case, by which a defendant who committed the crime as defined, claims he did no wrong, because committing the crime advanced some social interest or vindicated a right of such importance that it outweighs the wrongfulness of the crime.[1] Justification and excuse are related but different defenses (see Justification and excuse).
I can see it as consistent given a certain set of beliefs. I do not agree with it though on multiple grounds. You would have to deny certain things in order for that belief to be logical.

1) Milo is also intolerant of intolerance. He is intolerant of Islamic culture that would condemn and kill people for being gay. He is advocating the same position?support for the LGBTQ community. Attacking someone who is advancing one of the left's positions is illogical.

2) Milo himself is gay and is quite vocal about his sexual preference for black men. Again, the left attacking someone who is gay and pro "minority" is illogical.

3) First amendment.

4) It's one thing to be intolerant of intolerance, it's the means employed that makes the difference. Milo uses ridicule and humor. They are using violence.

Which brings me to my next point on why I don't agree with it:

Quote:
terrorism (n): the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.
