Flood Of Domains With Copyrighted Adult Names in Google
I've been wondering about some things, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Since a while I have been seeing massive flood of domains that contain well known adult sites brand names. For Example: lubed1.com povdfan.com metarthunter.com zemanihunter.com brazzerzxxx.com bangbross.org bangbros18teens.com some are rips of the original site visitor tour, some other tubes with videos mostly from (but not necessarily) original site, some other with short preview of the content, some other with full stolen stuff... various stuff. Either way most are not only promoting the original site but also other shit, competitors or unrelated things like gambling, penis pills.. you name it. My questions are: Do owners of adult brands care about these tactics at all? And also isn't it illegal to use variations of copyrighted/trademarked names? Most affiliate programs I dealt with restrict the usage of their content to promoting only the related brand, their brand. So, for me it looks like a violation of program terms, yet, they seem to accept this kind of traffic... Does anyone do anything about it? What are your thoughts about all of this?

I forgot to mention. Some of those ripped domains are getting better results in Google than original sites when you are looking for something specific, e.g. certain scene or a girl name.

always better to have any affiliate promotion on top of serps than torrent sites, which are nowadays on top of serps mostly. if someone do not get that, he is a retard

If registered and qualifying trademark holders who did not obtain a SMD and pay the fee to reserve their trademark to the registry for the new gTLDs
What is a SMD file? | www.trademark-clearinghouse.com the trademark holder can buy his name on the open market or sue the registrant in URS Arbitration https://newgtlds.icann.org/en/applicants/urs that is the ICANN 'law'. domain extensions in a trademark name are not good for a SMD cert. |
