Great to know your income per registration is increasing over time. I am going to be patient and keep focusing on increasing my registrations / day with confidence that the money will follow. I am slowly but surely finally realizing promoting "live porn" via cams is the best way to insure a good income for years to come. Cams have that social / human connection aspect that a porn video can't compete with. You are the 2nd person who has mentioned the surprise effectiveness of cam popunders... I'll add some popunders to my blogs and report back on the results It's stats and feedback like yours that keeps me going Good luck to you too and let's keep in touch!

I discovered a camgirl the other night and I was immediately struck by her beauty and aura... beyond just the physical... She is somewhere in Europe, she had chill music playing in the background I had never heard before and she just seemed so relaxed and happy... She barely spoke - she didnt have to...she would simply thank people as they tipped her. Every 15 minutes or so she would put on a little show, i was glued to my screen! I ended up having her cam playing on my phone fullscreen while i worked on my laptop... I will buy tokens myself and she will be the 1st camgirl I tip for sure Im not just a chaturbate affiliate, I'm also a customer! Her chaturbate username is milanayana:

But I am getting just over 1:1000 per registration with popup traffic. I have no idea if this is good or bad..but I won't complain as the revenue continues to grow each month Yes be careful watching the Cams, they can become addictive and distract you from working |

Some of the Cam Girls provide preview photos for when they are not online. I sometimes use these and have never had complaints. We are pushing traffic to their account, so they make money, I make money, and Chaturbate makes money. In theory, everyone should be happy.

In the event you receive a DMCA when using feeds from API, please forward it to [email protected] and let them know the content is from the API. They will go in and opt the broadcaster out of affiliate network websites.

Sloan is it clear? You can NOT use any image on your blogs, so how you promote those camgirls?
Mohawk Steve , why you have at all a feed? You know when I gather feeds I ususally store images on my websites because I do not want to give links out to an unuseful images server ( that can bring down pictures anytime) . In the end you should have a list of girls who does not care of being PROMOTED ( AKA MAKE MONEY) by webmasters so that we could send those girls more traffic and not waste our time with those issues . My 2cents. |

They also get an edge because they get models deeplinked on their sites. If we are not allowed to keep any of the content in the xml feed then zero models should be deepllinked unless they are on the chaturbate.com domain or if sites have permission to post the model (which im willing to wager the majority of affilates don't have permissions from the thousands of mdoels posted on their site). I really wish you would make this abundantly clear in the api section of the affiliate area. The statement above is pretty nebulous. Can we or can we not store the image and the text content provided in the feed on our websites? We know you can't scrape screen shots and record the video (most people who do this don't even use the feeds) but can we store the text and image in the feed? |

I was told by Steve that if there was ever a complaint, it would be okay as long as we complied. So if we get DMCA'd, you must remove. Best practice is to ask the model first.

Guys you can use the feed , you can NOT store the images on your server . If the girl opt out from the feed you will have a nice broken link on your website/blog . Thats all , also consider the images on the feed are quite bad . They should just create a list of girls who want to receive promotion.

I'm still promoting on twitter and building my database via the api feed and optimizing my pages for SEO. When I think of it though, with the sheer amount of cam brands, popular cam usernames (female, couples etc) and cam niches (I discovered the 'sissy' cam niche the other night) I don't see blogging as being an optimal way of spending my time promoting cams for the foreseeable future. It's an SEO lover's dream. It's clear when it comes to promoting cams that building a relationship with individual camgirls is valuable. In a way the cam performers are our customer, more than the cam viewer. By helping a camgirl with her promotions you will start getting other camgirls wanting you to help them too. You and the camgirls will benefit. You certainly have to think differently than when promoting a traditional porn video sponsor. For example, I'm enthralled by the newbie camgirl. The ones with 18 people watching. They must me excited and eager to get their name out there. They are the ones ripe to agree to being promoted I think. Don't be afraid of some human interaction

Guys, I have an issue playing the embedded chat rooms on mobile.
On my whitelabel I have the play button on the video and it starts playing, on my embeded chat room I don't have a play button nor it is autoplaying.. Does anybody experience the same with the API chat rooms? thanks |

quick update...
16th - Ended up with 6 on when I was guessing 8 but I ain't complaining 17th - had only 2 but one of them was my first signup from the header menu on PornHero.com so that was exciting 18th - was busy all day working on other things so it was nice to see 5 come in on their own - I love the power of the internet to keep doing work for you while your gone I now have 2 solid cam accounts on twitter that are growing every day on their own. I am going to build @PornHero next. I will be busy the rest of the month with offline events including court , my parents visiting and my birthday so I wont get much chaturbate work done. But I'm gonna hit this chaturbate shite hard in June! Thanks for reading and Good luck to all! PornHero

To get some fresh data for this post...
I just Tweeted 7 posts about hot guys on CB. 10 minutes later, I have 89 new hits. 0 new sign ups. How many of the 89 are Bots?? Would be nice to see in my CB Stats.

My 2cents
In my opinion Revshare is the best way for chaturbate!!!!!
It's all about the few guys that spend hundreds of dollars a month for their favorite camgilrs/camboys! In the last year i made ~ 8.3k with chaturbate! I think thats a pretty nice ammount of money for someone like me who only works "half-time" (most of the days even less) in this industry... To promote chaturbate I use a mix of Banners (regular chaturbate banners and self-designed banners), Textlinks and Popunders. I also didn't notice significant differences between sending my traffic directly to chaturbate vs. sending my traffic to my whitelabel site. The signup ratio was pretty much the same. I also noticed that straight guys spent much more money for cams than gay guys (not a big surprise, but maybe worth to mention it) I would be interested in promoting chaturbate per email (I have 50k relevant emailadresses) What kind of expexperiences did you guys had with chaturbate + e-mail marketing? What Signup Ratio? What kind of mass mailer did you use? I add a screenshot to show that it is still worth to promote camsites - even for beginners and newbies! Start your Chaturbate-Journey today Screenshot Rev-Share: Screenshot PPS:

Thanks for the great input decayy! $8K in a year part time is great cash. I'm wondering: how many total revshare email registrations do you have since you started promoting Chaturbate? I see you had 486 in 2015. Im just curious to know how many total registrations all-time you've had on that account that generated the $8k. Just sent you a GFY friend request, let's keep in touch!

Had another 5 registrations yesterday:
I'm averaging over 4 registrations a day the past few days. I'm assuming that's good for just starting out?

Considering most of my cam traffic is coming from twitter and my network, I think 4/day is a good clip to start. But what I would like to know from the people making $10,000+ a month with chaturbate is: how many registrations a day do they send on average? 25, 50, 100/day? |

Hey PornHero! We should definitely stay in contact! About the total Revshare Email campaign: It failed - 1 Registration per 7k The worst ratio I have ever experienced... But I'm not a professional when it comes to email marketing... I guess "Professionals" could make much more out of it. All Time RevShare Registrations from 2012 to 2015: 3.427 As you see i don't have so many registrations, but i focus on high quality traffic.

I know Chaturbate does not allow affiliates to send email traffic directly to chaturbate but there must be a way to use email to promote when a camgirl goes online. Ok thanks so much for sharing your total numbers! Ok so taking your numbers an example for end of year 2015: $8259 commission/ 3427 total registrations = $2.41/ per registration per year. $2.41 income/yr per registration. That was the number I was dying to know in all this. So each email registration although we dont get paid out on it is worth $2.41 income per year. In order to make $120,000 a year with chaturbate ($10k/month) I need 120,000 / 2.41 = 49,792 total registrations. Let's half that and make $60,000/ year as the first goal - so I need: 49,792 / 2 = 24,896 registrations. 25,000 total registrations in my account Once I hit 25 registrations / day which i stated as my first goal... it will take me: 1000 days (2yrs 9 months) to get to $60,000/year. 2000 days (5.5 yrs) to get to $120,000 a year. That's too slow... I want to get to $60,000/year in a year. $120,000/year in 2 years. so I need to muitiple my 25 registrations / day goal by 3 to turn that 1000 days into 333... So my new goal is 25 x 3 = 75 registrations a day. 3 registrations / hour. alrighty then, changing my mindset... to 75 registrations a day processing... processing... processing...

If more people shared their stats, you could obtain a more average figure. I would assume there are people making much more per registration than me, and people making less. The law of averages over many accounts would give you a better idea. Best of luck! |

Thank you for providing your $ average Sloane. Nice to see it's higher You're right, an average across multiple accounts is the best way to go. The underlying truth here is that I'm really going to have to attack this in a large way. 25-50 niche domains each with their own twitter account. Cross linked and uniquely optimized. Avg 2 regs / day from each domain and i will obtain my $ goal

If I can ad my $0.02 here. I've been promoting Chaturbate on the side for a few years. I belive that cams is going to continue trending upwards for years to come. The affordability of HD webcams, laptops and high speed internet is making it easier for girls to get online faster than ever before.
Unlike regular porn, there is (IMO) a desire for certain viewers to want to have a connection with the girls they are beating off to. This is where a great camgirl can succeed. Iv'e seen guys drop 1000 tokens on a girl in one shot several times. Crazy. I think Chaturbate is a great program with mostly hot women. The first 3 pages are usually nice. Get past page 4 and the weirdos will come out... you've been warned. As for revenue I barely promote so I have low hits but I usually do ok. My traffic generation is mainly social media when I have time. As far as screenshots, I have an email from Chaturbate support in from May 2012 when I inquired about using screenshots to promote the program. This is what I recieved from support@Chaturbate -------------------- I can't see the attachements. But you have my authorization to use screenshots. Please provide the URL of the site you'll be using them on. If we get a complaint from a model all I ask is for you to take down that photo in a timely fashion. Thank you, Customer Service --------------------------- It didn't have a name but I have yet to have any problems. On my site which was recently redesigned and I have minimal content. I have a removal request form that I remove photos from models within hours of being contacted. My attorney says this is a great way to show compliance. I don't wanna piss anyone off, I just want to work together to make everyone money. And screenshots are a big part of that. Anyone have any questions I will try to answer them as best as I can. |

wow... 'posting on social media means you allow everyone to use those images' wtf
as for storing the feeds/thumbs etc... many camgirls geoblock their own country, and aren't ok with you then posting their stuff to those in their country. No brainer as to the why on that one. and.... Steve - I didn't know you were at chaturbate! sent you an email the other day to vivid, not sure if you are still there? |

It'd be a good idea actually if there was some way affs could tell which camgirls/rooms have a geoblock - not necessarily which country etc, but just so the aff knows those are a no-go for screenshots etc... saves everyone girl/aff/support time & money.

Thanks for the great input MF! I didn't think of it from the camgirls perspective but you are so right, I'm seeing a lot of camgirls in 3rd world countries making money they could never dream of in a regular job in their homeland. The influx of camgirls reminds me of the business concept of providing the shovels and tools for the goldrush prospectors instead of panning for gold yourself ;-) Feel free to chime in on this thread any time! :-) Regards, PornHero

I have said it many times on this forum and I have talked about it with the Chaturbate's staff some time ago. Let's hope they implement it in the future.

I think Chaturbate should be clear to models and to webmasters what is and isn't allowed and to let Chaturbate deal with everything, don't let the models go rogue.
(You guys realize that there are lots of ways for the girls to make money with your system besides tokens that no one besides them gets a cut for, right? Fix that, too.. )

Another issue for Camgirls to consider is privacy. To realistically think that a camgirl can come online, get naked, masturbate, fuck etc. and rely on geo filtering and DMCA to remain anonymous is wrong.
I get it, it's illegal to steal images and videos without consent. But a lot of people who do the stealing (not me) don't give two shits about a camgirl's privacy. So If a camgirl thinks they can do cams and remain anonymous and their friends and family wont find a screencap of them online somewhere. They should reconsider another hobby. Nothing on the internet is private. |

Question:
I've had 57 registrations so far this month. 10 out of 57 or ~18% of them had a blank tracking code. Can anyone tell me what the source of these blanks are? As far as I can tell I put a tracking code in every link. Are these the redirects that happen when a room is offline/banned or something? Love to know where 18% of my signups are coming from

Porn Hero, would you be able to post your total conversion stats from Twitter this month? I have also started pushing traffic from Twitter in the last few days. Would be interested in your clicks to registration ratio. Cheers Sloane |
