So who gives a fuck? Does it make you special that you signed up on this site all those years ago, and now you are back to talk shit and openly lie about yourself?

Dude, get a life. There's no network, no sales, no shit. You know it and we all know it. You just love blowing digital smoke up people's asses.

Sometimes I wonder if the dawn of internet porn and it's widespread accessibility isnt the cause for certrain males thinking they are better and smarter than they really are and unruly pervasive cockiness seen in some guys.

Some guys are naturally attractive to pretty women, know how to hold a conversation, and can lead a woman to want to spend more time with them.

These successful men who can interact with the opposite sex usually have a certain confidence and aura about them that is earned. They know that being thoughtful, civil and humble with a woman is usually the way to win her over. These men are rewarded with the ultimate prize -- some sweet pussy and sexual experiences -- that some ugly fucks will never experience in person.

These successful men use the same skills and personality traits that attract the beautiful women to allow them to speak and interact with some intellect and a level of maturity and diplomacy no matter what they are doing.

Enter internet porn...

Now every ugly fuck (physically and personality) with an internet connection who can't hold a conversation with a woman, wouldnt be able to pick up a chick to save his life much less get a second look from a gorgeous girl now is privy to know what it's like to fuck a beautiful girl.

Anytime he wants he gets to jerk off to beautiful women doing xxx things that he didn't even imagine before and they would never do with him.

Because of internet porn these guys get a sense of enjoying the prize (having sex with a pretty girl) without earning it (being civil, diplomatic and humble).

So this sense of enjoying the prize produces a level of confidence in the ugly fuck that he would otherwise not have, but because the prize isn't earned, that confidence deforms into a cockiness know-it-all attitude that revolts rather than attracts others.

Very true... I have been working every day since opening this thread.

Just an update:

Still fixing a lot of stuff that had broke but seeing encouraging signs:

For example:

- just realized the main page on one of my moneymaking sites hasnt been updating for I don't know how long! fixing that now...

- bunch of my wordpress blogs/themes where hacked and showing spam posts, gonna take me a while to fix those...

- updating and fixing scripts running on cronjob so they are working at their optimum.

- My Google Analytics is starting to show a turn around and I got my first sale on RealityKings after getting reinstated

- Definitely interested in promoting cams, think that's the ticket to $10k/month the fastest.

I was actually really sick, caught some sort of virus for the last week that needed antibiotics so that certainly slowed me down.

Need to get my stuff back running like a fine-tuned machine...just gotta keep working every day because I know it will pay off...

Good luck everyone

The one thing that has remained consist the past decade is my love for the porn business.

And my lurking on GFY.

To be frank, I have barely worked on my sites / assets in the last 3 years. Too busy being a dad, distracted by drama with multiple women, an addiction to mindblowing sex with a woman who was bad news, 2 criminal arrests (I was innocent I swear!), going back to a fulltime job at an internet company (I forgot how much 9 to 5 sucks!), etc etc.

Coincidentally, when I stopped working on my sites in 2013 was when my monthly porn income started to drop... .that got me thinking...

This month I am on track to generate $2500 in affiliate paysite commissions without doing much more than making sure the domains renew and my scripts keep running. My monthly expenses (hosting/domains etc) have been around $900 for years.

Last night, I did an inventory on the state of my sites - there are obvious areas for improvement, sites that need some housecleaning, and many niches/paysites/programs that I'm not even promoting - not to mention I don't even promote dating or cams --- yet.

I see opportunity.

So starting today, I will turn that $2500 into $10,000/month asap.

I have no choice but to make that happen.

History is repeating itself. Now that the divorce is under way I have many nights free without my 2 kids. Free time just like I had in 1996.

I will invest those evenings to increase my XXX income. Just like I did in 1997.

My first big goal is to get to the point where I can quit that f'ing fulltime job at the internet company! Just like I did in 2002.

So regardless how many people say porn is dead, I'm still making sales in 2016.

By putting my head down and going back to work I aim to quadruple what I'm presently earning running on autopilot.

$2500 to $10,000/month.

What do you think my chances are of getting to $10,000/month?

Wish me luck!

TL;DR - I am going from $2500 to $10,000/month by actually working.

Look at this picture - it mesmerizes me - this is art, I don't care what anyone says!:

He probably has one blog he created from the late 90's that he's so proud of because he has naked pics of his mother in it and charged his friend $5.00 to take a look. Pure profit. Only $9,995.00 to go!

A shit ton of blogs, lots of keyword domain names that I've built up as sites using sponsor content, custom tours I've built...

I had a few wordpress tube themes that made me sales but other than that I haven't ever touched tube script s.

I think the secret that made me successful overall was to avoid doing things manually. I use databases, cronjobs and custom scripts to update my sites. The network of pages I have control over grows even when I am not at my computer.

When I build something new just by adding the new site to a few databases it gets cross-linked to all my shite & gets instant traffic.

All in order to keep a surfer on my network as long as possible. Automate, automate, automate. Also another biggie I think is I only send people to join pages, never the full tour.

So you got an automated system that populates your blogs, but how does it create unique content if you do not ever manually write anything unique?

Unless your sites are doing a fantastic job of pre-selling your Sponsor content you may want to consider not sending hits directly to the Join pages. Chances are (especially if you are using a big Sponsor who does a lot of A-B testing) the Program is going to have better landing pages that will sell better than your sites. So consider trying sending hits to the full Tours for a month and judge conversions.

Plus, people tend to bookmark full Tours not just Join pages. Have luck!

It has been my experience that the average sponsor does not know how to convert traffic or sell, AB test, and outsources their tour designs to designers who just copy their cookie cutter competitors.

LOL You make a very good point.

As with any piece of advice, always test to see if it works for you.

Actually I don't automatically populate my blogs with posts. Certainly need to still manually post unique content to the blogs.

But the difference is what do I do with that post once I create it?

I add the post url & title into a database and it gets circulated around my network. I show related category links from another database to everyone that reads the post. I add it to a database to be tweeted out with the associated picture using a script that runs once a day.

Making a post on one of my blogs is just the beginning. Everything that is done with the post after it is created is where you unlock the real value of the post.

Hey Porn Nerd,

I certainly agree that preselling is important when sending to join pages. I like the fact that pre-selling also creates more text on my pages for the search engines.

I prefer to get 5 more pageviews on my sites with possible bookmarks & clicks to join pages rather than 5 pageviews to one sponsor tour. This helps to keep the control of the traffic in my hands instead of a sponsor's hands. Over time I think that helps me end up with more traffic/pageviews which results in higher revenue overall.

Here is a thread I made about pre-selling in 2005: https://gfy.com/fucking-around-and-pr...-pre-sell.html

That's a good thread and one thing is that the guys I know that do well ratio wise (and usually keep quiet about it) do their own promos, own text, own pre-selling.

It's not as much as to spike an interest, make somebody curious to check out more, show him the right pictures, give him the information you need him to know in the right order, that makes all the difference in the world.

The tours I designed had no sopfisticated pro design on them at all, it was basically just hand picked pictures and text, and a certain structure and order. Still was able to do 1:150 - 1:200 from SE traffic and average 1:600 from porn (affiliate) traffic.

Of course what helped was that it was a unique product, but I'm sure even with something more generic one can do a much better job than to just throw traffic at the pre-made tools or generic tours that are rarely properly tested.

Question:

I have several different types of sites. Some do really well, some WILL PROBABLY do well, but aren't yet.

The question is how do you keep motivated on projects that don't produce returns? Work 80/20? 80 on the one that does, 20 on the one that doesn't?

I don't know if you were asking the OP or just in a general way so I will offer my opinion. Basically if a site is doing consistent daily sales I throw all my resources at it. If it's doing good but not great I scale back a bit but still promote it steady. If a site is doing jack squat I don't waste my time with it.

But with new sites you can pretty much tell within a reasonable time period how well it will do, like in a few weeks. Whether it can scale or not is another question. Sites often "find their level". I always give a new site six months at least before I judge how hard to promote it.

Thanks so much. The sites I run usually require lots of content and are not promoted by buying traffic, so I have to allow myself a "leeway" period for sure. Sometimes it's not motivating. But if you don't build it, you'll never know what it could have been. But I suppose you have to have a line where you cut off projects that don't work.

I guess the MVP approach is best, throw something out and if it works, invest more into it.

Let's take cams for example. I can get free signups easily, but they generally don't buy tokens. That's not motivating. Do I keep building sites around cams if I can't convert? Maybe it's the sponsor, maybe it's the traffic. Maybe it's not enough traffic?

Anyways, this post wasn't very organized in thought, just rambling, confirming my own thoughts lol.

It can be very frustrating because as I always say, it takes the same amount of effort in the beginning to launch a successful site or a disaster of a site. You simply do not know until you launch something how well it will do, if it can grow, etc. So give yourself a reasonable time limit before you move on to another project.

For cams you would need to ask a cam expert or whale affiliate what the deal is there. I woud like to know, too.

Interesting... in your view, why is pre-selling cams vs paysites completely different? I've started to promote cams so I could use some pointers!

Thanks!

I would agree with Porn Nerd. Let the money talk!

I spend the vast majority of my time on the projects/sponsors that are proven moneymakers. Try to expand into other niches, apply the same code to other sponsors to see if you can discover new moneymakers with the least amount of effort.

The underlying principle is that once you find something that works you really have to milk it as much as possible. and at the same time don't put all your eggs in one basket... we've all had sponsors take massive dives for unexplained reasons...

Some projects could be classified more as "R&D" Research & Development because it's good to always be testing new things once in a while to keep learning. Some of my projects are more pet projects because I love the content but I dont get any significant sales from it.

So yes 80/20 rule is a good concept to follow. 80% of your time on proven moneymakers with a mind to working/building/growing as efficiently as possible -- automate automate automate...

You didn't get the memo? PORN=FREE.

10 years ago, you might be able to make a living at online porn, but back then, you could get real traffic from a broker, today, it's ALL BOTS.

Even the highest quality porn can be seen for free, so what are you going to offer?

Don't be a fool. Take your $ 2500 and enroll in a trade school and learn how to do something.

If you don't, you will burn thru that money in no time from traffic brokers that sell fake bot traffic, trying to sell a product that is free to the public.

Wake the fuck up. Remember what you read here OR come back in a month when you are broke and let me know how it went.

BTW, everybody here egging you on either has a failed business or isn't making much at all online and want to see you fail as well. Misery loves company.
Did he even hint that he was going to use bought broker traffic? Or are you imagining that this is and was the only way to get traffic?

It's been two weeks since I started this thread but I was wiped out for 1 week being sick, had to get antibiotics

Felt much better this weekend and got back to work.

Feels great being back in the groove and the biggest value so far has been being back in the zone: thinking about my business non-stop and getting the positive, creative juices flowing again and enjoying that feeling of excitement about the biz again

I've been fixing broken links, updating neglected databases, doing a full inventory of the state of things. Its going to take another couple weeks to get all domains/sites back working at full efficiency.

One thing that hit me this weekend:

In order to hit my $10k/month goal in the shortest time possible:

1. I need to spend time on projects with high value / high return potential

2. Highest value/return potential for time spent = cams

3. best cams to start promoting = chaturbate

So yesterday I started adding chaturbate links to my network and woke this morning to my first member registration.

I will create a separate chaturbate thread soon when I'm ready to take a deep dive...

... and that's the state of things

I hope everyone has a good week!

There's no better motivation than sales and signups! In fact, I have my smart phone set so anytime I get a sale it goes DING! and I feel happy. When that thing is rocking like a pinball machine then I am high as can be. It's like Pavlov's dog, hear the bell and feed me (sales).

Keep on rollin'!!

So true Porn Nerd!

There's nothing like getting sales and seeing the fruits of your labor to give you motivation

I have statsremote set to make the sound of a cash register every time I get a sale:
http://pornhero.com/cha-ching.wav

when I get a rebill this is what I hear:
http://pornhero.com/askyourself_os.wav

Just added this to stats remote for every time I get a chaturbate registration:
http://pornhero.com/computer_mail.wav

This business rocks!
