Has anyone here taken HGH? IF so, what were the results?

I am considering it. I am 41 workout a ton and I do not wish to get bigger or any stronger.

Just the anti aging properties of it are attractive.

I am mostly wondering if you start it, is it something you have to keep doing?

I would like to do it for about a year. Workout hard the whole time, get rid of all belly fat.
Increased mental focus. Better sleep.
That sort of thing.

I took it for about 8 months years and years ago, and to be honest, I really didn't feel any different. It gave me a placebo effect and I felt more confident, but no real physical changes. I know it was real since I got it straight from the lab (did some work for them and that's how they paid me). But honestly, I could have been shooting myself with olive oil and would have never known the difference. You have to use it very frequently and the shots in the stomach get old after a while. It also has a very short shelf life after you mix the esters. It starts to break down almost immediately.

If you do use it, be sure you get it from a doctor. I would venture to say 95% of the shit out there is fake. As I said, it's not like taking testosterone where you see a physical change. You shoot 500 - 750mg of testosterone a week and you're going to get jacked. You can triple your dosage of HGH and never know the difference.

A better sense of self being, which translates into confidence is probably the only benefit I got from it. But it effects everyone different. If you choose to do it, do it right and get it from the right place.

Oh, two things that did happen was 1) my skin peeled. I literally molted my old skin and it was coming off in sheets. You know when a sun burn heals and your skin just cakes off? Well that's what it did. One of the guy that works at the lab told me it was because new skin cells were growing, which made sense. And 2), my stomach got HUGE! It was seriously bloated all the time. It's like I just ate a huge meal but I didn't. I had somewhat of a 6-pack, but it protruded out almost to a ridiculous level. Even people at the gym asked me about my "gut" when I had my shirt on because they thought it was fat. I never really researched the side effects, so I don't know if that was one. But I got seriously bloated and it went away when I quit HGH...so who knows.

I am tired from doing many things...3 young boys...working out...couple businesses.

So I read low doasge HGH therapy coupled with working out and good diet could increase my energy level.

I'm older than you and getting same benefits by working out and or swimming every day.
Water retention is hard on your heart and lungs.

Eat less, eat better and work out. I also made a pillow change recently. Has changed my body from aches and pains to that of a 30 year old. Check your pillow.

I am thinking to increase my workout frequency. I thought that maybe after i get used to it I will have more energy. I recover fine, but it is the mental alertness I am after. Looking younger is a nice side effect also. I look young for my age, but when dealing with 20 year old asian girls..not bad to look younger..haha

Taking shit like that is just playing with your health. Unless you have some real medical condition to what it is prescribed for and used accordingly.

Hehe, I heard that. Having my Friday favorite tomorrow for an after lunch snack.
She's 5'2" and a nice little spinner. She LOVES getting anal. I am blessed.

I don't know anything about HGH but I would research the effects once you stop. If any.

Nintendo DS has some nice brain games for the alertness. They activate your frontal lobe and eventually you can get mental age back to 20's. Your head will hurt the first few times but soon enough you'll be like "Data" from Star Trek.

Hair dye works as well.

Brad,

Follow the Wheat Belly Diet. You can buy the book but here is the Coles notes version of what you can eat and what you cannot eat. I started following it after my accident and I feel like I am 20 again. I went from 190lbs to 160lbs, a 34 inch waist to 31 inch waist. I have more energy now than I have in years. My workouts are going amazing and I am starting to pack on muscle and see definition, I only work out a hour max a day.

I am basically following that diet. I do have some cereal though at times.
I have lost 7 kgs since the start of my journey. Have 5 more in my sites.

Hrmm this doesn't sound like you did HGH at all since there are no esters, and its not suspended in oil, but rather bacteriostatic water. You only need to use it 1x per day subcutaneously and you'd have a much better sense of well being on test than HGH. GH is about cumulative results. First month skin clears up, your hair and nails will grow at an alarming rate, and you'll sleep well. After that you wont notice changes until about 4-6 months out and then from there on is where you're basically reaping all the benefits of fat loss, etc.

You are incorrect with this statement. Most quality (legit) HGH has esters. Look it up.

I never said it was. Everyone knows that HGH is subq, mixed with bacteriostatic water, and stored in a fridge.

A lot considering it's not just taking a pill. You have to draw it into a syringe and shoot yourself in your stomach (you can do it anywhere there's enough loose skin and fat, but the stomach is preferred)

I agree. Did I ever say otherwise? I said you would "look" different on that much Test -- get all Jacked.

Did you read the part where my skin came off in sheets?

There you go, I only used it for 8 months. My "free" supply ran out and I couldn't afford the thousands of dollars a month it would have cost to keep up the regime.

OK, I have to apologize. I misspoke and used the wrong terminology. It's not called "ester", but it's the fine crystalline powder that you mix with the bacteriostatic water I was referring. I was wrong and I apologize for coming across as a prick in the original response to your post. Didn't mean to go on a 'roid rage.

I do bodybuilding on national level:
I took HGH and the discussion needs to be extended to much more than a forum's topic.
However I can tell you:
- HGH is very expensive, if you want to use it for BB purposes you most likely need to pair it with insulin (better not to play with it)
- HGH used for "anti-aging" purposes really is too expensive for the results you may get

As everything obviously changes from subject to subject

the ester is just the chemical transport mechanism to the muscle...HGH is a suspension it does not have an ester...

take HGH while being under 40 = you get old
take HGH while being over 40 = you get young

the fact that you are using norditropin (very high quality stuff nothing to say against it at all) means you do not know much...the only exception is if you get it free or your healtcare plan covers its absurd cost...

It makes you drowsy like fuck. You basically can sit down any time of the day and go to sleep, no matter what's going on around you. I felt that I could sleep 24/7 on it.

To have any effect while lifting, you need to take it with testo.

Any anti-aging or health benefits propaganda is bullshit. I haven't noticed anything. Only thing i noticed is that fat literally melts away from your body, you see the effect within days.

Injuries are a bietch! Have you considered TB500? I hear its amazing for joint regen. I've been dealing with forearm tendonitis from deadlifting for the past 2 years. Ill be good for 4-5 months then im out for 1-2. Im glad I'm able to still train at times but boy does it suck constantly yo-yoing. Get well soon bud!

The massive gut effect is perfectly visible on these day's top bodybuilders. They're physically unable to do the vacuum pose. Their physique is extremely far from athletic, mostly looking like comics characters.

Just check the difference - Sergio Oliva - perhaps the most gifted guy of the golden era who was working in a steel mill and worked out every day after work vs. Ronnie Coleman (even one of the less ridiculously looking guys).

Anyway seeing someone like Sly who's supposed to be a heavy user I guess there is a way to benefit from HGH.

This massive gut is more from insulin use/abuse than GH use/abuse. Professional bodybuilders take upwards of 20IU's a day if not more. Far more than the average person could handle or afford for that matter. 2-3IU a day of real pharmacy grade HGH and you'll reap nothing but positive benefits.

I agree 100% with you though, the bbers of the 70's are my favorite. No HGH, no insulin abuse, or exotic steroid compounds to utilize. Frank Zane in particular his conditioning is impeccable

You'd need 4-5 UIs to see some effects.

2-3 you won't notice anything (apart from fat melt, that you'll get for sure and it's really nice - you get abs in days, even if you never trained them. ).

2-3 of HUMAN grade you will 100% see and feel difference. Not to mention 5IU of Nordi a day would cost you like 2k/Mo! You wont be growing new muscle cells but you'll certainly get all the benefits of HGH. You need 4-5 IU a day if you take generics, which I'd never suggest to anyone as edema is a huge issue with a lot of people at doses within the 5-10IU range.

Would you call authentic Jintropin generic?

I don't think anyone is using Nordi / Pfizer brand (those pens) for lifting.

I would never run HGH produced in Asia, those are in fact generics (green top?) Jintropin is not approved for sale or import in the US. To me thats a HUGE red flag as far as purity and quality control is concerned.

Plenty use Nordi for lifting, its one of the best out there.

From the look of most of the posts in this thread, it looks like the bulk of the research many have done is at such official sounding sites as...hgh-gotta-be-true, hgh-is-real, no-hgh-scam-here. If you actually did your research on the more accepted sites. like fda, webmd, mayo clinic and so, then the prognosis is not so rosy.

I would like to do it for about a year. Workout hard the whole time, get rid of all belly fat.
Increased mental focus. Better sleep.
That sort of thing.
Damn, you were a fresh, young Canadian when we first met. What the hell happened, man???

GHRP-6 or GHRP-2 may be something to look into.

Its more natural then saturating yourself 24/7 with growth hormone.
