Very good, just not too crazy about Spanish dialog when you have to read the subtitle...

I know Escobar was speaking Spanish, but I would have prefer all dialog in English like they did in 'Blow' ... Just my

LOL, BMW e39 was picked as one of the cars in the show. Action was 1990-1991, they picked a cart that started production in 95/96.
How is that possible? I mean if you are responsible for cars in a show that is set back in time the first thing you do is check production dates, no?

Was I the only one who immediately notices that there is something wrong when I saw that bmw?

Excellent show but unsatisfying ending to the first season
No spoiler here, unless asked.

Most amazing scene akin to Tarantino when two thugs come to shoot some woman and they discuss if they should shoot her baby toddler... One does want to, the other does not... A nice altercation while the baby is grinning at them...priceless.

Because the vast majority of us have never heard of a BMW e39. Looks like just another late 80s / early 90s BMW.

The story is based on The biggest drug cartel guy in Colombia's history. This show is based on a soap opera made las year. Netflix ppl found it would be cool to adapt it to a series.

Its a great show....and at the same time was watching it I was reading Don Winslow "Cartel" the parallels are incredible...set 20 years apart and in different countries but the "history repeats itself" aspect is unreal highly recommend both.

That remind me of the story Rivi told in "Cocaine Cowboys".

Cool that they take from real life. I remember reading "Blow", George Jung said Escobar wanted to watch "Patton" over and over again. I like those crazy little stories.

Habbla Spanish un poquito (obvioulsy not enough), but Patty speaks Spanish fluently (Mother from Madrid), and even her, she has to concentrate to follow because the accent, while removing all the 'bad words' to get what they mean at the end...

To her, Columbian Spanish sound like strong Australia or New-Zealand's English does.

But That being said, it is an excellent series like Netflix does
