Referring to blog directories from this post. What is the best script for this?

I have looked into a few like esyndicat and some others, but for something like this, most of them seem to have way to much functionality. I am looking for something simple that can list categories, with recip checking, and where people can send recip's from sites that are not being listed, etc.

I was using a wordpress theme with built in functions of a blog directory. It worked well for me. I don't remember the name though.

Yea I have check this out, would really like to demo it before paying for it. Its only 80 bucks, but so is all the other ones pretty much. So I don't want to test 7 of them for 80 bucks each.
