I need a hosting plan for 5 sites (together they have about 15k-25k daily uniques). What is the best option for this? What is the cheapest option?

The best is dedicated. The cheapest is virtual. If the traffic is valuable you should use dedicated. If it is cheap traffic, then use virutal.
