New free blog host coming soon. Input wanted.
Hi,
I'm developing a new free blog host and would appreciate some input from you guys. What plugins are a must? What themes are a must? What are the top things you look for in a free blog host? I have a brand new server I am configuring now: CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1230 sandybridge (8 cores w/HT) RAM: 8 GB DDR3 ECC Memory HD: 1000 GB Hard Drive 2nd HD: 1000 GB Hard Drive BW: 100 Mbps Unmetered IP: 2 Public IP Addresses CentOS 6.0 The service will run on Wordpress Multisite and be 100% free. I have a new domain name and will give sub domains to my users. I'll post the domain name once it resolves, its a great domain. All users will also get a no-recip required link on my new blog directory. Advertising will be kept at a minimum with only two small text links, one advertising the service itself, the other advertising a dating sponsor. Thanks in advance for your input and I'll be checking here often as I configure the new system. Camphost |

Ok guys,
The site is officially open to GFYers and anyone you choose to tell. Please let me know anything I have forgotten, plugins, file types, etc. I'm sure there will be several things I need to correct. I've tried to make the host as nice as I can and I hope you enjoy. If anyone with a service to webmasters would like to trade hard links let me know. Hello!
Can you set all links from these free hosted blogs to NOFOLLOW? We get lot of spammy follow links from your free blogs. Or at least provide full list of your free blogs. |
