If he wasn't a Murdoch employee then he might have his own small news site, report for one or something along those lines and then you would be saying no one should listen to him because he doesn't work for some corporate media outlet.
At least Murdoch didn't fire him for having his own opinion like another media outlet did recently. Actually there have been several recently.....
