I look at it this way.... My old Mustang Cobra was fast for it's time, but now any run of the mill Mustang can match it.
The only way Ferrari will survive is by it's styling and luxury.

Not true at all...you have these things called enthusiasts and we dont care if its slower...as long as it has a combustion engine we will buy it. No enthusiast is going to be all for their new electric sports car that you cant mod. I cant even begin to imagine "tuning" an electric car...you would over lower both the the battery and motor expectancy significantly.
