Buy american - Hire American.

Nothing impacts living standards of most Westerners, of all races, more than losing their jobs or the shrinking of their wages. Not even the Bank Crashes have had such a long-term devastating effect on the working classes.

Now Trump is championing a policy more working classes want. They want their jobs to stay in the West and not have their wages reduced by mass migration of unskilled or low-skilled migrants.

But the problem is the liberals and their puppet masters the 1% aren't going to allow anything to slow down the growth of their wealth. So no surprise the FT is anti such rules.

The pitfalls of having to buy and hire American. There's no problem with trading with a country that has a similar cost of living as one's own. Such as UK/Germany or US/Canada.

The problem arises when it's UK/Czech or US/Mexico. Bosses don't move their companies or buy goods from places like Czech or Mexico to pay the same wages or prices they would at home. They move them to increase profits. Which they then move to a tax haven to avoid paying out to support the country they want to sell in.

Trump and May might be the only ones who can start to turn this around and establish fairer trade deals. Forcing countries with a cheaper workforce to buy the same value in goods they intend to sell.

Yes I took advantage of the stupid laws. More fool those who are pro-free trade.
