Some people, in every society, fight for any reason to feel better than others, it's a mental disorder and the disease should be wiped from the human genome.
It's one thing to be proud of your ancestry, ethnicity, religion, uniqueness etc. It's another to attempt to suppress others and say you are "better than" because of who/what you are.
