if the affiliate programms would be here a bit more helpful that issue could be eliminated from the income site but most of them will do a fuck, because they get additional traffic from a webmaster who is not their affiliate.
this kind of companies can only learn when someone steal the sites from their affiliates and lead the traffic somewhere else - but that is not really a nice way, because it would effect someone who have nothing to do with all that.

.htaccess works on other occasions, I have not investigated Ts's website.
I agree this kind of problem can be far more complicated than the examples and solutions I mentioned.
