And you're right. Every President has a cabinet that doesn't necessarily agree with him on issues.
Just like millions of Americans may not agree with their boss.
But at the end of the day, you present your opinion and hope the boss can be swayed...if not, you still do your job as the boss directs you to.

The president has the power to dismiss any of his cabinet members at any time without recourse, so they do what they're told or lose their job
The funny thing is Trump has a loooong history of burning through execs quickly in his business so it will be interesting.
