Whether it would be treason or not would depend on what was true and what exactly happened. For example, if he directly took information from Russian hackers and used that to hurt Clinton, I think that might be considered treason.

Everything you just stated I knew and concur with, but doubt that it falls under Treason. I think the exchange of political information is stretching it to be considered a Treasonous act.
