Who's who? I found AM Jeff to be Laycock. Also, his ICQ is Rhino which fits Ragging Rhino.

Either way, OP certainly got ripped off. Seems like it wouldn't be all that difficult to track down.

How was payment made? Subpoena the confidential records of who took the payment... then go from there.
