Front End Developer! In House Position, Toronto
To develop and maintain the front end development of a cutting edge web conferring application that is 100% Java Script client based and takes advantage of latest and greatest of what HTML5 has to offer (such as Web Sockets, Local Storage).
Responsibilities:
? Collaborating with in-house designers to develop and deliver compelling user interfaces
? Ensuring site compatibility in all major browsers
? Collaborating with back end developer using JSON / REST ensuring smooth communication between front and back end
? Leading multi-level, multi-department projects
? Managing and working on multiple projects
? Creating and executing direction for the product
? Participate in operational strategy
? Integrate existing back-end systems with existing visual designs
? Modify and optimize graphic assets for internet-based delivery and display
? Researching and Implementing new programming techniques and skills
? Applying best SEO coding practices
? Ability to shift between a creative and technical focus depending on a project's needs
Qualifications:
? Three or more years experience programming JavaScript
? Two or more years of web development using C#
? Expertise in JQuery, with use of JQuery plugins for MVC, Mocking and AJAX
? Expertise in JSON / REST and Security related to REST
